Worked in adjacent building for a few years before the pandemic, and then switched jobs, and now am down the road. Starting the day with a breakfast sandwich from the Merriweather Cafe & Deli would sustain me the entire day sometimes, and the staff there are very friendly, which also adds to starting off the day nicely. I hadn't been there in a while and was glad to see they are still open. NOTE: There is no big sign on the building. There is a glass door on the first floor (by the main upper parking lot entrance) and just has a sign saying Merriweather Deli and their hours. Enjoy!
Parking: Parking in the garage is the considerate thing to do versus parking along the side of the courtyard. It isn't that much farther, and if you drive electric there are Chargepoint EV chargers there.

Waitress Angelique, made it memorable, but food was delicious. Shrimp, filet mignon, salads, desserts and cheese were a delight. This is a ‘ must visit’ destination in Columbia….hope you are lucky enough to get a table……live jazz quartet is an added bonus.
Extremely friendly staff, fair prices, and HUGE sandwiches. Everything here is sooooo good! I got the powerhouse today.
Inside the office building, ask the security person where to go.My iced coffee was good, and they have a full kitchen!Plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy your beverage.
First time was excellent. Second visit was less than satisfactory. Reason: My husband’s steak sandwich had very little, next to no steak and my salmon was spar (thin) and not cooked to specifications. Soups were wonderful, but didn’t make up for deficiencies in the entrees.
place is a rip off the manager is it incredible a Hall you pay lot of money for a really crappy food that you can pay half the price of chain restaurant Avoid
Nice atmosphere. Very good food. Nice tap selection. Friendly/funny bartender: Taylor, two thumbs up. Went there for lunch solo and sat at bar. Ordered their fried oysters and fried sweetbreads and both were excellent!
I had the vegetatarian sandwich and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the tastiest sandwiches I've ever had. It was loaded with high-quality produce and the proportions were spot-on. Definitely worth trying out.
The jerked chicken is one of the finest dishes I have enjoyed. Atmosphere has energy but not crazy. Staff is efficient and warms as u get to know them. No exaggeration as I am in Columbia 2orv3 nites a week. Go. Ask the waitstaff. What they recommend. Get a drink. Chill. No pretenses. Just great effort all the way around. Bravo! Love this place. Substance over style.
We ate brunch here and everything was delicious. I like that the portions are on the smaller side as you get to taste different things. They have a delicious BOGO Bloody Mary which was a nice surprise.

Tried Cured 18th & 21st for the first time. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Celebrating our anniversary, they offered us a very nice booth with 2 complimentary glasses of Champaign plus an anniversary card. Very nice touch and classy. Our waiter was great. The live music was also spot on. Nice to have a great meal with soothing jazz music. Definitely recommend Cured 18th & 21st.
The Best Ruben I've had in a long time. So good and fresh!
My party of 3 had been to the restaurant before Covid and very impressed with our meal and especially the ambiance. Our schedules finally allowed us to return & we were very disappointed. The meals were inconsistent. The lobster was very good, the halibut was also good but needed more sauce but the iron steak special had too much grizzle & there were hardly any potatoes on the plate. Also considering the price you pay for a meal, bread should be on the table. The most disappointing part of the evening was now loud the music was--you couldn't carry on a conversation at the table. With our prior visit the music was loud enough to be heard but soft enough so as to not interrupt conversations.
Different menu items...nothing like I expected. The drinks were really good, food was tasty too. The server was informative and attentive.
Good competent staff. But as a wine bar you should definitely be offering a charcuterie board every day especially when you're trying to push yourself as a wine bar. Having music in the outdoor patio also would have been a great addition. Run by kids but nobody seems to care. Will return but they should definitely with the wine offer a charcuterie board or cheese selections
