Small grab and go deli. Not meant to stay and eat or drink coffee. Coffee was great machine was nice. They can do all the espresso wants and needs. Not a bad place. Just know what to expect
Worked in adjacent building for a few years before the pandemic, and then switched jobs, and now am down the road. Starting the day with a breakfast sandwich from the Merriweather Cafe & Deli would sustain me the entire day sometimes, and the staff there are very friendly, which also adds to starting off the day nicely. Waitress Angelique, made it memorable, but food was delicious. Shrimp, filet mignon, salads, desserts and cheese were a delight. This is a ‘ must visit’ destination in Columbia….hope you are lucky enough to get a table……live jazz quartet is an added bonus.
