My husband and l attended a private party and all of the food was delicious and the service was great. Everything we tasted from appetizers to dessert was great. I had the steak frites for my entree and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Also of note were the Brussels sprouts. We also loved the new decor and color scheme of the restaurant.

Very handsome restaurant. The remodeling really pops, and the addition of the bar is on point. I've already started becoming a "regular" here. Perfect spot for lunch or dinner, happy hour or just a couple drinks with the spouse while stealing an hour or two away from the kiddos. I have yet to experience a bad dish. Duck confit performing a not often seen trick- delicious spot on preparation. Sliders are my go to happy hour treat. And the Braised short rib sandwich fits the bill on the colder days.
Highly recommend checking this place out. Just what this side of Columbia needed

We recently went here for dinner and was looking forward to trying a new restaurant. I had the crab cake which was good and had crab meat. The Mac and cheese is considered to be homemade but it was mediocre. I have had much better Mac and cheese at other restaurants. Two people in our party got the porterhouse steak to share which was a joke. They gave four asparagus and a few carrots for two people to share and one side of mac and cheese. For the price, it should have been individual sides for each person. The gravy that came with the steak tasted like it came out of a can. The duck bucatini hardly had any duck meat for the price. I wish you all the best but will not be returning in the future.

My experience was incredible. Great ownership and management, awesome concept with farm to table product that you can’t find anywhere else in the city. Definitely recommend the mussels, short rib and frangipane for dessert. My favorite cocktail was the botanical bliss. 11/10 recommend! Pay them a visit this holiday season! Great date night destination or family get together spot! I will be back soon!

So happy we stumbled upon this place after going to Columbia for climbing. The food was excellent (calamari, duck, and rib eye) and the wine was also delicious. Our server Eric at the bar was so friendly and helpful and made our experience even better. Will definitely be revisiting eventually!

The food was fantastic, especially the cream of crab. The wait staff was extremely attentive, and the restaurant had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Music selection was also top notch. Met both owners, as well as the manager and they couldn't have been more kind and inviting, can tell they really care and desire for their guests to have a great dining experience. Highly recommended.

Four of us dined at the Old Line Kitchen and Wine Bar on a Saturday evening in November 2024. The first thing we noticed was the change in décor (the space was the previous home to Aida Bistro). While the basic layout remains the same, Old Line has traded the light, contemporary color scheme employed by Aida for dark greens and even darker wood panels in the main dining room. The walls were totally bare and the overhead lighting harsh (I felt like I was being interrogated during our meal). This made for a rather austere dining ambiance. Second, our server oddly apologized in advance for the possibility that we would not have new silverware between courses due to some internal issue (new silverware did actually materialize, but it was wrapped in a second linen napkin, which was just…odd). Overall, the service was good. The food was a bit uneven. Since this was our first visit to this new eatery, our party elected to order and subsequently share a wide variety of appetizers and entrees so that we could get a feel for the kitchen’s culinary expertise. The fried Brussels sprouts were prepared well, but in need of the acid that was promised by the balsamic in the menu description. The cream of crab soup was good, as was the calamari. Our salad courses included burrata panzanella (a small portion of burrata, wilted arugula), kale and Brussels sprouts (good save for the dressing, which, despite the description tasted more of bottled French rather than a pomegranate vinaigrette), and a Caesar (some of the romaine was brown and had seen better days). Our entrees included the duck confit (very well done and the best of what we sampled), rockfish (cooked perfectly but bland compared to the accompanying pumpkin puree and cranberry coulis), and braised short rib (excellent except for the dill crème fraiche, which really confused my palate). Everything was plated attractively and both the wines and cocktails that we tried were very good. Overall, a so-so experience, but all agreed that we would give it another go in a few months, especially if the menu expands (not enough seafood options and too many “fried” appetizers).

Went here for lunch with an old boss to catch up. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess and shown to our table. After receiving water we ordered our drinks. I ordered an old fashion and he got a ice tea. I enjoyed my drink very much.
First we ordered appetizers. I ordered the calamari while he got a ceasar . The calamari came with three sauces. A beurre blanc, cocktail, and tartar sauces. While all three sauces were good I enjoyed the beurre blanc the most.
Next we ordered our entrée. I got the Mahi, while he got the risotto. He said he enjoyed the risotto but sadly i did not try it this time. The Mahi was very good. It was tender melt in your mouth. The wild rice and kale was good, but that pumpkin herb puree was tasty. Everything blended well as I ate every last bit. I hope to be able to visit this establishment again.

Beautiful place that was redesigned perfectly from the previous location. Everything we had was great. The duck entree is worth getting. Most importantly, Kyle behind the bar made the experience.
