Oversea Distillery

They need someone at the front door! We walked in and nobody was there to great us.... Then we walked up to the bar to see if we could just grab a table and they said "of course, we have table service " Nobody came over to us for at least 10 minutes... Then the so called manager came up and asked what we ordered..... We will not be bacķ!! They clearly have no idea how to run a restaurant..... Ìts sad honestly cause the place is beautiful but the lack of leadership shows!!!

Went on a Sunday at 2PM. Not one other person there. They were setting up for a birthday party with a DJ. Bartender wasn’t busy or interested in taking an order from us. It was weird. Probably won’t be back. Space has potential though and it’s nice looking.

I would love to give this venue 10 stars for ....just because it's a chill spot.
The Live Music was excellent...Keith Lea Project ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.... However, teach the Bartenders to use tongs ,even gloves ...but your bare hands to place fruit items in drinks-Nasty?

Love coming to this play for Friday night Jazz! It has a wonderful lounge atmosphere and there is a good variety of drinks.

I would love to rate this place 5 stars, but unfortunately I'm not a fan of the food here. I feel like this bar should have really banging food for how nice it looks, but the food is lacking flavor. I also wish they didn't use the cardboard style containers for serving food in such a nice bar, makes it feel like a sports bar and not the vibe of the rest of the place. Also, this is a place I would love to take my girlfriend, but there is not one vegetarian entrée. Atleast there should be an impossible burger or blackbean burger.

Just a couple of my thoughts. I love having this place around Columbia and want them to use this constructive criticism to improve on what they have. Will continue to have some drinks and enjoy the vibes here!

The bourbon flight was horrible, The chorizo tacos and shrimp had no love made in it. Our table was dirty. This place is a nice place to check in the box for Columbia and start looking elsewhere.

A hidden gem. This is the type of place you could go to chill with friends and have a great time. The staff was super friendly, and the manager was nice enough to let me tour upstairs. He gave me some interesting information about the distillery. The bar has an upstairs section, which can be rented out for private parties.
As you can see from my video, there is a lounge area, and they also have live entertainment. We had fried chicken wings, potstickers, shrimp spring rolls, and popcorn chicken for the food selection. I tried End My Misery, Frozen Delight, and sampled some other beverages for drinks. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely return. Yes, I purchased a bottle of Bourbon.

Came here to support the local band C.C.G. and was pleased. The bar itself is so well decorated, and the vibe is swanky and modern. There aren't any servers, which is weird, but the food and drinks are great! The live music was fantastic, and the crowd was A1! I love the bourbon that they make in house and bought a bottle to take home. This is a great place to bring the friend group on a Friday or Saturday and just enjoy great drinks with great people in a great space. Malcolm hosts parties here as well, and his parties are always THE BOMB! I can't wait to visit more often and spend some money with a local business! Great spot ?

Really nice cocktails. I really wish that they sold their infused alcohol by the bottle (cranberry rum was TO DIE FOR.

Was there on a Thursday with their comedian, who wasn't funny at all.

But good food and good alcohol, but warned, Flights of alcohol are 2oz, rather than the 1oz which is a fairly standard

This place is thee hidden gem of Columbia! It’s a seat yourself establishment with great service, food, and drinks. We went on a Friday night which is jazz night and had the pleasure of listening to the Ed Hrybyk Trio, music selection was great and I would definitely come back.

Has a cool vibe and is dog friendly! I love that! We got the gyoza, bao and kimchi burger. Pretty good food for a bar! Also the drinks were nice :)

I love this place! Zack and Jenny are the kindest bartenders! And Zack is fire with the drinks. This has become my secret spot to getaway and unwind. I’ve come here to just chill. One day I wanted to get out of the house and got some Chipotle came to Oversea, ordered my favorite drink, Tennessean Highrise, and went upstairs to enjoy a book. My secret gem ☺️

Excellent service and the house made run was top notch

My first time was the most magical evening I’ve had since the beginning of the pandemic. The showcase bartender, Jason, encouraged me to havre a custom campfire old fashioned. My mind was blown. Afterwards, as I was nursing my liver from the generous portions of alcohol provided by the manager, he spoke to me about life and the various intricacies of the human experience. In short, my hour and 45 minutes inside of overseas distillery have created a marked impact in my weekly nightlife activities.

I'm not sure what Jennifer is on, but we were at the bar with Zach and Jason serving the campfire old fashioned which was an amazing new drink. I didn't know trivia was held here and the whole atmosphere was amazing, the vibes were great.

Zach was very vocal about upcoming events and offerings and we are stoked about the future barrel aged bourbon when it's finally ready!

Jason was great at giving info about all the drinks. I'm so glad I ordered food from here because I really enjoyed the burger and fries beforehand. The presentation with the smoked bourbon was totally unexpected and added great flavor.

I am totally going to come here more often! Thanks for the great evening
