The sweet and sour chicken was candy sweet (way too sweet) and over cooked (very dry). Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my food.

This restaurant is the best I've been in the city.
The food is delicious and not pricey, the ambiance is great, and the Peking Duck is amazing.
On top of that, management gives a lot of importance to each and every customer. It really feels like you are received as a guest, and not just as a client.
5/5, would recommend if you are around !

Food was good. It's challenging to just walk in and get a seat even during lunch hours. I would recommend making a reservation before going. Even with that said, if looking for good Chinese food, this is a good option. Oh and the drinks are good too. Great spot to get a cocktail that isn't watered down. Peter Chang is a good option when looking for good food in the Merriweather district!

The atmosphere at Peter Chang’s in the Columbia Town Center is everything you hope for—and then some. The space offers a warm, welcoming vibe paired with great music that sets the tone for an enjoyable dining experience. Yan, the manager, has a way of making every guest feel right at home, treating you more like family than a customer. Cenia and our guy David (aka “Dak Prescott”) are truly the icing on the cake, delivering service that keeps us coming back. Peter Chang’s has become one of our regular spots, and for good reason. If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s absolutely worth a visit. Follow for more!!

Waited 30 minutes when told 15. Had multiple hosts come to us and say that we were next. Another couple walked in without reservation and got seated immediately. Terrible service.

Most disrespectful place ever. Especially the owner lady. That lady is the worst. She makes her guest cleanup their mess. Then she will try to get loud with the customers even when her workers are wrong. Worst service ever.

It was extremely cold 🥶 🤧 😩 😪 and I saw several skating ⛸️ patrons with hot chocolate 🍫. I asked where they purchase and was told Peter Chang. While skating at Merriweather I highly recommend.

I used to love this place, but like other commenters have stated. The food has changed, spices omitted, it is not the same. The
Wuxi Sweet and Sour Chicken used to have a crispness to it and the sauce was light, it was perfect. Now it seems very basic, covered in this heavy orange sauce, its a different dish. The grandma noodles are nothing like when they first opened. If your going to change the recipe on a dish, change the name of it on your menu. Wont be back.

Food was good! I ordered the chicken in schezuan hot & numbing sauce with chicken fried rice. It was a great level of spice for someone who loves spicy food. My boyfriend ordered the half peking duck which was surprisingly small for the price.. He seemed to enjoy it tho. We also ordered the soup dumplings which were really good. The decor in the restaurant was beautiful but the acoustics were terrible, you need to scream at each other to be heard unfortunately. Overall, we enjoyed trying this place for the first time and will definitely be back to try some different items.

When you’ve eaten excellent Chinese food elsewhere and also cook your own … and then try this place, you will never return. Atmosphere like a small bus depot.

Weekend all you can eat dim sum for $36/pp, 90 minutes limit. Good service & great variety on menu. Soup dumplings & scallion pancake are great. Definite pass on pork ribs w/pumpkin.
