The food wasn't bad, it just seemed like it wasn't really Vietnamese, it felt more American Chinese. The Lu Lac beef was pretty good, there was just a lot of onion, and not enough rice. I also thought the restaurant had a weird aroma, I would tend to think restaurants should smell like food.

Wish I had taken pictures, but Pho was really good VERY good healthy portions of protein. Broth was solid, but they have the normal add-ons if you want it spicy or saltier.
They were kid friendly, and the lunch special had a nice set of options. Everything came out great and service was solid and polite. Would come again and recommend. I want to come back and try some other non soup dishes.

Horrible! Never agian!
I want to share my experience in this place...
First, the food has the wrong taste. Soup was too salty and greasy. The pork was too dried and tasteless.
Second, the service left a lot to desire. The waiter had no intentions of doing job. He not once came up to us to check if we were fine or we needed something until after the end when when we waved at some other waiter asking for the check. We had to keep bugging other waiter to come up to our table.
The pho is really dry and bland it’s so sad that there stingy with the seasoning like it’s not hard to put a bit of salt and pepper in that bowl and everyone was right the service it’s just so money hungry, Boss went out her way to look and peak at my phone if I tipped or not then complain to me and ask if I did it with cash on the table, who can honestly be this greedy like filling up my water every 10 second with a rude service ain’t getting a tip honey

came in hoping for a warm meal and a good experience, but I left feeling judged and disrespected. After I paid, the staff gave me an obvious attitude just because I didn’t leave a tip — even though tipping is optional. What made it worse was the way they looked at me, as if they expected me to tip based on how I looked, like I must have money to spare. That kind of stereotyping is not okay. Tipping should be earned through good service, not pressured or assumed. I won’t be coming back, and I hope the staff learns to treat all customers with the same respect, regardless of whether or not they leave a tip.

Food is great, sadly the staff is not. I ordered via Grubhub several times over the past few months and 2 of those orders were CANCELED by Grubhub. Once because it was 40 minutes later than the promised time and I was no longer going to be home. The second time because (as evidenced in their delivery drivers photo) the food was not actually delivered to my address and I was unable to find it anywhere on my block.
Pho Dat Thanh called me directly and told me they would no longer honor any of my orders because I canceled two orders. Even after having Grubhub call them directly to explain that I was not the one to cancel the orders and that both times Grubhub covered the cost of the food, they still say they will no longer fill any orders I place.

Great spot to grab a nice bowl of pho. Definitely not stingy with their protein/meat.

It was my first time eating Vietnamese food in America.
It was very delicious.
I think it would suit Japanese tastes as well.

The restaurant is clean and quiet. The food is good, but not worthy of 5 stars. I ordered spring rolls & G1, and requested an egg with G1. They forgot the egg, brought it out after my food arrived, and charged me $3 for it.
I would come back but this place is not top of my list. Mid at best.

Restaurantji Recommends
The boss lady was very rude. We just sat down and urged us to order. We hadn't even opened the menu.Had to give tips and tips again!!The food was not clean, We had a food poisoning! The worst restaurant!!
I came here with a friend after a long day in the gym doing MMA and spending time in sauna. Quickly, I was struck by how peaceful the atmosphere was and how kind the staff were.
I was immediately brought to a table and given time to order. The food came out rather quickly in large portions that I loved and was astonished by. Especially, when dealing with the quality of the food as well and quantity, this is a spectacular place to go too, with each bite tasting succulent and flavorful.

I usually like to give restaurants two chances before forming an opinion, but honestly, the broth here has been very bland both times I’ve visited. The service is okay, but nothing remarkable. Overall, it’s just not a place I’d rush back to.

Not Vietnamese food! I ordered a lemongrass chicken vermicelli dish for my daughter and it came with a few slices of chicken, not lemongrass chicken, covering a mound of cooked onions. The people there were not knowledgeable of basic Vietnamese food or spices.
