This is the place to get true DOC, Napolitano pizza. One bite and I was taken back to my time in Naples. The buffalo mozzarella tasted very fresh. The dough was perfect (thin, crisp underneath and soft inside). I'll be sure to take a picture next time. The pizza didn't last long enough for a photo. The quality, texture and authenticity of the pizza made me forget that this is a restaurant chain. A must try.
Pupatella was fabulous for lunch today! The lunch size pizzas are just right (maybe a little too right ), the included lunch salad is a favorite of ours, crisp greens, kalamata olives, halved grape tomatoes, and oil/balsamic dressing. We had the onion tart and the ham/mushroom/mozzarella pizza wre done to perfection! Thoroughly enjoyed the margherita pizza. The dough was chewy but not too thick. Ingredients tasted super fresh. And I love that this is in the old Pizza Hut. Limoncello was pretty good, too.
