Unbelievable your worker Jeremiah was being rude and disrespectful I asked for nerds on my milkshake as a topping and when he opened the door, there was nothing on there so I asked for some and gave me an attitude then came back with the nerds on the milkshake and opened the door and said to his coworkers “that’s what I said who put nerds on a milkshake” unbelievable and disrespectful I came 20 minutes away just to try Rita’s since it looked good, this is unbelievable never coming back

Customer service was poor, the cashier could barely muster a hello, and it didn’t feel like they even wanted customers.
Not going back, especially bc the location is in a really ghetto area.

Guess it depends on when and where you go. Went to this location on Sunday, 6.8.25 around 7:15pm. Stood too long waiting before I was acknowledged. Eventually, I had to move closer to the window, as the young person was sitting down, earbuds in, face in phone. Then, he slid the window open and waited for me to speak (no greeting). It was clear I was interrupting his screen time. As I attempted to indulge on my way home, there was hardly enough custard at the bottom of the Gelati--made by the other young person. And, I drove 15 minutes to get my Rita's fix. SMH. . . . (I know relative to what's happening in the world, where this probably ranks, but someone may want to know.)

Stopped going because you get accosted by random homeless or teens here. Decided to go tonight and confirmed again.. saw a couple walking up get approached by a man who appeared on drugs. Unsafe and the HCPD should be cleaning this place up or patrolling regularly.

Update: Response from owner doesn't make sense. I drive all the way over to Rita's and by the time I called HCPD and asked them to come and help me get my shaved ice, I could be home eating ice cream. Rita's staff should notice just outside the window how folks are being approached and make the call for their patrons.

Harpers Farm Rita’s location has issues with transients and understaffing. The last several times I've visited this location, it has taken staff five to ten minutes to handle a single customer, so if you arrive with two or three folks ahead of you, you'll be waiting a while. That's rather abnormal compared to other Rita's locations I've visited. The quality of the product is good. Unrelated to the business itself, there are significant issues with transients harassing customers in this shopping plaza, leading to a feeling of unease and concern about crime.

The icecream cookies and cream is not even real icecream, it’s just ice flavored, horrible.

Today is 2/28/25 I took my kids for a treat to this Ritas.There was a
older man taking orders,he was very,very rude to me and my kids.He kept rudely saying how they didn't have the flavors we were asking for,and that we should read the list of flavors they had.His customer service was Bad.I would never go back to this location again.And I would advise anyone of color to be mindful of this place.

If I could give zero star I would. They close at 9.

Got there at 8;45 pm. Closed’ on Mother’s Day!! My 18 year old son was out of town we rushed to get there so we could do anything for Mother’s Day and they closed early!!! Staff rude: told me understaffed, out of most flavors, closed early to make more and two people working and would not serve me and my son even though it was 8:45 pm Mother’s Day. WOW horrible

This location sucks!! They never have any flavors in stock and all of the young workers suck at working! Everytime we go all the kids are just talking and laughing. It looks like none of the workers work together. Two girls just kept looking out the glass at use and laughing wile others were actually working. They need an adult in there with them so they can actually work and get the orders out! We went one time and it looked to be an older gentleman/ manager that was taking orders and that was the best time i've ever had here, They need him in there everyday with them!!

Showed up on a Thursday night at 8:29pm. They close at 9pm. Whoever was working opened the window to inform us that they are closed due to “having to clean.” Would recommend going to any other location because it just sounds like laziness. We decided to go to Safeway to get ice cream there and when we walked out, we noticed all the workers had already left and it was only 8:45pm. Other cars were driving by trying to get Rita’s. Needs to be restaffed because it sounds like this happens often according to other reviews.

Came tonight at 6:40 PM. They close at 8 PM. Open light was on. Lights were all on. No one was working. Waited 10 minutes, assuming they may be in the restroom. No one returned. I’ve had a series of bad experiences here. Go to one of the other locations in the area, as I had to tonight.

I believe gloves should be worn when getting the cones and ice-cream. The person at the register should wash has begire serving.

The worst Rita’s I have ever been to. My familys order was skipped over FOUR times and now they’re out of the flavors that we were going to get. Service was terrible, you can’t even read what the flavors are on the menu because you got the menu hidden behind a dark screen. Every time a customer came up with their order the girl working said “we’re out “ . They were literally out of everything.
