This location has become my favorite all because of Ella!! She is THE best barista yet since opening! I've been coming here since it opened and I get the same coffee (Banana Carmel Latte w/Oatmilk), it has been next level since she's been making it! I joked with her last time that I was walking out if she wasn't working, but truth is I was so serious! Please don't ever let Ella go!

Be sure to check your order before you leave. We didn't get items we paid for and got 3 completely different things. Wouldn't have been terrible except it was for a 2 and 5 yr old.

Lovely little bakery. Great food, highly recommend the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. The lattes here are also good. Of course the pasties are yummy. The Boston creme is my favorite.

This is a good place if you want to waste your time waiting 15+ minutes for employees to finish chatting with random customers before making some mediocre coffee for you.

I ordered this online without an idea of what to expect as it was my first time and I was pretty impressed. I tried a little bit of sandwich and breakfast and dessert and nothing was disappointing. It’s definitely a good try for someone looking to test something new and does not want to miss.

Lovely staff, great sandwiches and good coffee. I will say a Little pricey but honestly I’m a college student and it’s post covid pricing so don’t blame them haha. Will definitely be back ! :)

I have been going to the Columbia location for years and it seems like lately their service isn't as it used to be. Just yesterday I went there for breakfast and ordered a cappuccino. What I received was almost a triple espresso with a small amount of milk foam on top, which is definitely not a cappuccino. It seems like they never have enough staff present and the breads that they used to have for sale are no longer available. The European flair is definitely fading as it becomes more Americanized.

Quick story: I was at another Roggenart who wasn't able to bake bread at that time. They directed me to this location, and because I was on a very specific mission for baguettes, I called ahead. I spoke to Ash, who said they had one left and they would be happy to hold it for me. A quick drive later, we wound up here and picked up said baguette. Ash said if we didn't mind waiting about 5 minutes, they could bake up another. Sure! So, we ordered a pastry, waited a bit, and there was a piping hot baguette ready for us. The moral of the story is: customer service means far more than ever these days. Ash deserves recognition and possibly a trophy for going above and beyond. They had a wonderful selection of pastries, more so than the first location we stopped at. They have a great location in Columbia, though my only complaint is the state of the parking lot (which is obviously out of their hands). There's enough seating for your basic coffee shop, including outdoor seating. I am glad places like Roggenart exist. We need them in this hectic world. Thank you Ash for making our excursion so rewarding!

Th pastries were excellent and the coffee was good. I would have given it 5 stars if they asked if you are eating in and provided real cups for the coffee. I'll definitely return

The service was excellent ave very quick. The ambience is a quiet place to grab a latte and a pastry. The fruit tart i bought tasted great add the 50% of Raspberry danishes were so tasty. This is an excellent bakery and i will be back.

I visited another location about a month or so ago. I enjoyed the experience so much that I wanted to try another location to look for consistency. Recently, I had a quick business meeting in the late afternoon on a very rainy day. The place was almost filled to capacity, which was surprising considering the weather. At first glance, the attention-to-detail was not at the same level as the other location that I visited. Since it was a very quick visit, I ordered the cafe au lait again along with the red velvet cookie. The coffee tasted old and certainly was not at the level of the coffee that had early in the day at the other location. However, the red velvet cookie on this visit was better only because they warmed it up for me, which made it moist and delicious. As stated earlier, the place was crowded, so there was only one table on the side with the bookshelf. The available table couldn't have been more perfect because the bookshelf aesthetic was what we needed for social media content. We accomplished our task, so it was an overall good experience.

This place is promising for the area, not a lot of bakeries. Been here several times but after one Saturday morning receiving such rude service I won't be back. Waited 40 minutes for a breakfast sandwich, watched people come in order and get theirs. I asked politely if someone could check and got ignored and said "I don't know". More time went by and asked several other people before it was determined the order was lost. Shoutout to the one worker who actually helped us.

A great local coffee shop with friendly staff, lots of unique and delicious lattes, and insanely good pastries.

I'm a regular here via uber eats delivery.Although everything was great taste wise, sometimes stuff can be abit too sweet but still edible. Often missing out stuff I ordered or did not follow instruction, but couple of times employee took effort to call me to make sure what I ordered is available.I usually ordered $50-100 worth of stuff for me to last couple of days.I spent $100+ today on uber eats. They did not put my spinach tomatoes quiche in the bag, that cost $11.49 before tax. Complaint to uber eats cs multiple times to get my money back and they refuse because they said what i ordered is match with what i received. I cant belive it. $11.5 for nothing, tried to reach uber eat through ig as well after app did not work they way it should and the answer is the same.Last night i only slept for 2hr bcs my baby is fussy, all I wanted is a nice breakfast in the morning when i wake up without i have to do things and I ended up dealing with cs all morning to get $11.5 back and my baby woke up again, wasting my time, could ve use my time for shower or sleep more. This is my last straw ordering from this place, too bad bcs everything actually taste really good
