Manager took my order incorrectly then accused me of lying when I called out his error. This man is a tryant and has no respect for customers. He continually argued his point in front of other customers and never once apologized. I had to finally end the back and forth by shutting the situation down. I honestly believe this man has an issue with women. He was insulted that I challenged him and refused to take ownership. I will never give my business to this bootleg Asian fast food establishment again.

They are sooo rude. They have such attitudes it’s so annoying. From ordering your food to the chefs. I asked the chef can he get chicken from another part of the pile of chicken bc he dropped shrimp right next to the chicken he was about to grab for me, and I’m allergic. He gave me the worst look and rudely put the chicken on my plate and walked off. I wasn’t rude or anything I just asked if he could grab it from the top since I’m allergic! What the hell is wrong with them??

One of my go to Japanese restaurants when I am Starving and I want some good and quick food. I have always loved their food. I get the teriyaki chicken bento box which comes with fried rice, teriyaki chicken, dumplings, California roll and salad. Absolutely worth the price. It's so filling. They also have teriyaki shrimp. I sometimes opt to have a combo of chicken and shrimp. Service is good. Staff taking our orders are very friendly. They are always located in the mall. Not much to talk about their ambiance. It's a regular food court experience. I have never been to their restaurant. Not sure if they have any. If you're a fan of quick meals such as chipotle or cava this the place for you.

We ordered a chicken bento box. My son doesn’t like rice. I told the gentleman at the counter no rice, please. He rudely snapped back at me so you just want chicken plain? No vegetables or sushi or dumplings? I politely replied he wanted the full bento box but just no rice. His rude response was so what do you want?!? I patiently repeated everything the bento box comes with except rice. His response was again “so just chicken”. Finally got that cleared. Then I ordered a California roll. His response was “there is already California roll in the bento box”. Yes- I know that. I patiently tell him the bento box is for my son and the California roll is for me. Meanwhile the line to order behind me is growing. In the end, the food was just meh. I guess they don’t have to try since they are in a busy mall food court, but still!

I placed an online order only to receive half of what I paid for. I ordered Beef and shrimp which the recipe clearly said that. When I got home all I recieved was a plate full of rice very little and I mean very little beef and veggies, no shrimps at all. This was shameful, to me it did not seem to be a mistake. I say this because I had rewards points that allowed me to get a free teriyaki chicken with an additional $5.00 off my meal. Did they not think I deserved this deal, I ordered at this location enough to deserve all the rewards that are afforded to me. Shame on you for treating your customers this way. Check your food before leaving if you ordered online because I didn't.

They did not fix the correct plate I ordered chicken shrimp vegetable and rice they forgot the vegetables when I reminded them they threw my vegetables on the plate which was not the entire amount you get. Never again will I visit this location.

We visited other sarku places in the Baltimore area and loved their food, so we figured we would try the malls rendition. We ordered the same way we have always ordered, but things definitely tasted differently this time. The sauce seemed off, which just made everything else suffer. The sauce really needs to carry with protein. We didn't like the fried rice either, it didn't seem incorporated very well. Probably will stick to other locations whenever we return to sarku. They made the plates noticeably smaller and then they raised the prices. I get it with inflation the price had to go up a little but when you do both it just feels unsatisfying. Seriously considering not eating here again.

The food has not taste. The fried rice is rice with soy sauce and it cost an additional 50 cents. Not worth $15.00 for a bento meal and a drink. Skip this place.

Food was bland and dry. I asked before leaving counter for sauce poured over it 2x an I had to still get soy sauce packs because they were stingy with the sauce. What’s the point of offering sauce if you gonna be pety. What are you making the sauce for if you not gonna use it or give half a teaspoon to customers??? The grill needed cleaning it was too much char mixed in the food. Paid almost 10.00 for everything an was not satisfied an will not return.
