Wonderful place that my wife and I have gone to twice; first time at the bar, and the next time at a table. The bartender Mel was great on both occasions, and all of the servers and hosts were fantastic, especially Alethea! Can't wait to find time to go back again!

Me and my partner had our wedding dinner hosted by this wonderful resturant and it was quite an amazing experience. First, the ambiance was really welcoming, warm, and chic. The music played was soft, subtle, and not overbearing, and you can actually enjoy conversations with your loved ones/friends. Because we had private dinner party here, we also had an assigned waitress named Jeyah. Jeyah was just so professional, kind, and really tended to each of our needs. Moreover, she was also training another waitress named Sariah, and while showing her the ropes, she didn't miss a single beat with ensuring that our experience was one for the books. The food came out in a timely fashion, and was served with good pacing so that nothing was rushed, but also nothing took an incredibly long time to get. The alcholic beverages were SPOT ON. The flavors were full, and nothing seemed thrown together or generic for that matter. Lastly, huge shout-out to our event planner from Smashing Grapes (Allison). When I tell you she went ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty, my partner and I couldn't say enough nice things about her. Smashing Grapes in Columbia, MD is an experience, and I would highly recommend this location to ANYONE who is looking for that. At the end our dinner party, the Resturant Manager Cristian came over and thanked us for coming, and it really sealed the deal. Thank you again Smashing Grapes and team. We will be back! I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Tim! First time here too. From the moment we were seated, Tim went above and beyond to make our experience truly memorable. He was incredibly attentive and friendly!! Great place and drinks!!

Expensive, but mediocre. Restaurant is lovely, service top notch.

Crab appetizer was delicious.

Lamb chop ordered medium well. Served medium to rare. Bibb salad came with cold, soggy looking bacon.

Bisque was lukewarm.

We were the only customers, mid-afternoon, but it took nearly 1/2 hour for our meals to arrive.

Not a good experience for us, food wise.

Looked back at other reviews. Up charges. Cc fee is automatically added to bill, deducted if you pay cash apparently. We were charged an up charge for extra bread rounds for our dip. Another customer was told there would be an up charge for oil and vinegar for her bread.

I loved every moment of this experience. The food was delicious, the bartender friendly and warm, even when very busy, and the hostesses were kind and accommodating. Tim, our waiter, was friendly, eager and knowledgeable of the dishes. I would 100% return and have already recommended to friends.

I liked the overall look and feel of the restaurant but I the food has to be good too. It’s NOT. One salad, two entrees, two desserts, no wine, only 1 soda and water for $130 + tax and tip. Ughhhh! Never again. Food looks pretty but is bland, needed a lot of salt just to give it some flavor. Desserts that you think will be rich and flavorful (sinful chocolate and mouse) seem like they came from a grocery store bakery but not as good. It is a lovely space and had a romantic feel but dull food.

LOVED IT HERE! Hasset was a wonderful waitress. If you get her you wont be disappointed! Food was amazing and drinks were too good. Definitely would recommend!

My friend took me here to celebrate my birthday. We had such an amazing time! The shrimp scampi was the best I’d ever had, the atmosphere was picture-worthy and the service from Tim was exceptional!! Loved that they have a Mocktail menu for people who don’t want to drink alcohol but also want a fun drink. I got the Mango Blossom, absolutely delicious.
10000/10! We will definitely come again. Perfect place for a girls' night dinner!!
