Amazing sashimi. The fish was very fresh, fatty, clean smell, and buttery. I will say it was pricy and small portions but very high quality and worth it if that’s what you enjoy. The other sushi rolls are all made on the spot and done professionally. Highly recommend, beautiful atmosphere and view.

Best sushi in Baltimore/surrounding suburbs hands down. I go here every chance I get. It’s become a running joke in my friend group that I am always here.
Fish is fresh as can be. Yellowtail, arctic char, and uni are highlights.
If you call them and have a large group, you can reserve one of their private rooms. 10/10 vibes.

Went to Sushi Sono for Valentines day and have gone there multiple times because of how great the food is. My personal favorite is the sake don which is raw salmon over a bed of sushi rice. They had so many pieces of salmon with a balanced amount of rice. Try their fried tempura for dessert you won't regret it! Great place for date night or for a hangout with friends! Very clean and super friendly staff!

Prices are reasonable! They have a wide array of sushi choices. The most stunning things about this place is it overlooks the water. I walked down and was surprised by the beautiful water! Also, the servers wear traditional garb which adds a special touch from any other sushi restaurant I have been to.

My boyfriend and I went as I’ve been here many times and I wanted him to experience an authentic sushi restaurant. We ordered and one of the rolls did not taste the best. We ordered 2 of them and only asked to send one back as we were dissatisfied with the quality. The waitress says nothing and walks away, goes to the chef while pointing to us to explain that we did not want the roll, the entire staff stares at us. Another waitress walks over and says she will not take the roll off the bill and they don’t do that and why would I order if it I didn’t like it. I was flabbergasted. Our original waitress never came back to the table. Needless to say I will not return. Such an odd experience, I’m sure they don’t treat everyone like that.

I called to make a reservation and they told me they had 5pm of 7pm available. I selected 7pm. We arrived a little before 7pm but couldn't get through the door because there was a line/crowd and no one at the hostess stand. Then, they started to call me at 7pm so I pushed my way to the front to tell them we were all there (the whole party) but couldn't get in. They told us to wait one moment while they got our table together. We were finally seated 30 minutes later but only given 2 menus for a party of eight. 15 min passed before someone came to ask if we had any questions about the menu. I told them no, we were ready to order. They asked us to wait one moment and left for another 10 min. After ordering, our food came out very sporadically. Everyone had finished eating by the time I finally got my second roll. Overall, a very disappointing experience based on service.
Apparently yellowtail is supposed to be grey and ice comes with black dirt. Who knew? Tried to address issues with manager and they tried to convince me, for the remainder of my visit that it was normal. Still not going to eat it. Don't recommend you eat it either.

The definition of a solid three star place, food was adequate....it's a by the numbers menu with a paint in the lines execution. I could easily bash this out myself. Sushi was supermarket level, chicken teriyaki was chicken drenched in sauce. Salad dressing was weird. Overall presentation was poor. Wait staff were hovering trying to clear plates as soon as we finished, made us feel unwelcome. The location is really pleasant though, by the water. Other than that not sure why anyone would visit this place multiple times.
