I've never dined in, but I live around the corner. The flavors are there but my food is never hot, which sucks.

The service and conversations were great, the food was not. My wife had crab cake, and I had stake. We didn't like either, the sides were good. I was told to try the ribs if I go back, which we may just because the bartender (wish I remembered her name) and staff.

This was a let down! The service mediocre and food not what we expected! Turkey was a loaf like a tv dinner. Chicken sandwich was like a school sandwich!Lump crab cake had too much filler.

Food was mediocre, service was slow and forgot a lot of what was asked of them. This is the only restaurant I’ve encountered that has frying inconsistencies between dishes. This is also the first restaurant I’ve been to where the waiter forgot the table’s essentials. The vegetables tasted like they were dipped in boiling water for seconds. The Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Sundae took 20 minutes to make, and all I got was crushed up Reese’s Pieces shells with vanilla ice cream. The only redeemable factor of the restaurant are the fried pickles and the fried onion appetizers.

A bit noisy for us even though it wasn't busy.

Okay, but pretty blah food - not great! My overall rating is a 2.5 but there is no such option. The best thing I had from this place was the bread pudding - it was decent. Restaurants must learn that if you are going to charge a lot for food, make sure the that food actually tastes good. My shrimp were not blackened shrimp as the menu said, and the server just said, oh sorry about that. Then they had the nerve to charge me $3 extra for bread they brought out. I love lump meat crab cakes and they tout theirs as colossal and jumbo lump crab - it is NOT! The crabcake was about a 1/3 stuffing in Maryland; come on, really. We spent $105 with the tip for an early dinner - would not go back! Get better cooks, who know how to season food. Server seems nice but they were a bit disorganized.

Mothers Day lunch at Corner Stable in Columbia was excellent The staff and owner are always so friendly and the food was excellent. The Mother’s Day combo consisted of a 6 oz filet which was amazing, shrimp and a crab cake and it did not disappoint. we were a table of 12 and service and meal were excellent highly recommend this location. If you would like a relaxing environment with friendly people and excellent food give them a try

Disappointed

I ordered carry out on Saturday. I'm so sorry. The crab cake was tasteless and burned on the bottom. It was dry. (I guess the oven was turned up too high) If I had eaten inside, I would have returned my food. I asked for cocktail sauce which was not included. It will be a long time before I try Corner Stable again. The food used to be good, no more. Don't waste your money.

A Crab Cake Craving? Look no Further!
Corner Stables is our favorite spot for indulging in some of the finest crab cakes Maryland has to offer. These cakes were nothing short of exceptional at 8 oz and filled with lump crab.
The crab meat was sweet and succulent, with a perfect balance of flavor and texture. The breading was light and crispy, allowing the delicate crab to shine through.

Whether you're a seasoned crab cake connoisseur or simply looking to try something new, I highly recommend seeking out these delectable treats. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

PS the BBQ is great too.

The food is amazing. I had the cod fish dinner, my friend had their crab cake dinner, and he said their crab cake was better than Blue Fin restaurant. The blueberry Margherita is awesome. Will be returning. The staff is stellar!

My husband was craving a burger, I wanted seafood, and Corner Stable fit the bill perfectly! My husband said his burger was really good, and I had forgotten how delicious their crabcakes are. They're also known for their ribs, which the person next to us said were excellent.
The food is reasonably priced - I got the half pound crabcake (jumbo lump with very little filler) and two sides for under $28. If we would have gone on Wednesday it would have been under $20!
There is a big parking lot so that isn't an issue either.
