I ordered the spare rib dinner and the crab cake sandwich. The crab cake had several pieces of lump crab meat on the top and about 3 to 5 pieces inside. The rest was a dry filler of what seemed to be a half box of breadcrumbs. I have been a resident of Columbia for over 40 years, and a patron of the stable for years. I’ve had many enjoyable meals over the years. However, this was a horrible experience and for the price a total disappointment.

We come to this restaurant fairly regularly mainly because it close to our church and so we will do lunch here in the afternoon after service Its generally quiet when we get there as they have just opened up, but they can get fairly full as the afternoon wears on. The food is a mix of MD staples, crab cakes and the like, along with more traditional pub/bar foods. Currently it is October and they have their Halloween decorations up which are quite unique. They have a kids menu so our 10 year olds can find foods they like. I had the pot roast, my wife had a fall inspired salad, my son had pizza and my daughter had a crab cake sandwich. All were very good, and the cost is pretty reasonable. The young man serving us (Roy I believe) has waited in us several times and does a fantastic job. We will continue to keep coming here and would encourage others as well!

I had the brisket sandwich and it was great. Had a party of ten people and the food was outstanding. Looking forward to trying their world famous ribs next time out.

I can't say I loved it. The fries didn't taste right and the bacon on the sandwich was tough enough to pull a filling out that it did.

Have been wanting to try Corner Stable for awhile, finally went for lunch(2:00) and it was terrible. My wife ordered the pit beef chiabatta and it was closer to beef jerky than pit beef. I ordered the fish and chips and the one piece was ok the second piece of fish was raw in the middle. Spoke to the manager and she did nothing. I would avoid this place.

Wouldn't refund for a cancelled order. I called immediately after I realized there was a problem. Was transferred 4 times and spoke to the manager who said he would authorize a refund but never did. I order crab cake dinners from them several times a month for the last couple of years on the toast app. They have lost me as a customer FOREVER. I had to pay for food that I never received. Terrible customer service!!

The Maryland crab soup was really good! But the chicken tenders were tough, and the fries were limp.

We’ve been coming in regularly for trivia and were a bit disappointed when April stopped working—she always brought such a great energy to the place. We’ve still been coming, but the last couple of weeks she’s been back, and we couldn’t be more pleased! Her service is top-notch, she’s always so pleasant, and truly a joy to be around. Please keep her—she makes the experience that much better!

My waiter Ella was great! Otherwise, I’ve had much better food. Crab cake was dry, wings were too hard and dry. Fries were fried too long. The Madagascar Dessert was delicious!

Meh. We were seating in the bar. Well, not at the high top, but at the tiny booths next to the bar. Flashing before us were the happy hour specials. Also TVs and music. We were not in dining room 2 where a small child repeatedly screamed at a high pitch for attention. Gratefully, we were at the bar. However, we were were not seated at a nice table by a window in dining room 1. Nor were we asked if we wanted to be next to the window. I thought it was strange we were seated in the bar, when the good tables, by the window were open! Fried Corn fritters were good. Fried fish was bland. Pass the salt. French fries were terrible. Bland, hard, stale. I removed them from my plate. Fried shrimp was bland. Rack of ribs were fair. We got the check. My on-tap beer was not at happy hour prices. Why? I asked. The bartender waiting our table said, it was because we were not seated AT the high chairs AT the bar. Lame. Mr. Owner....LAME. 4.1 stars may be too high for this restaurant.
