We ate outside and the setting is lovely. Service and food were both 1st rate. Fish very fresh and cooked perfectly.

We were looking for a different place to go for our annivesary. We have been to Morton's the past two years. Saw this listed on opentable, it was not far from us, said it was connected to a country club, and the menu was nteresting. When we arrived, it didn't look like the country club restaurants in the movies but more like a small club house eatery with four giant tvs showing sports. (There was a larger room attached that looked like it was having a private party.) So we were a little disappointed by the ambience. Having said that, the service was excellent, the menu was still varied, and the entries we ordered--salmon and crab cake--were very good. We ordered their ice cream for dessert, which was Italian gelato and delicious. So, we enjoyed the evening and are glad to know it's here and that we can get to it in 28 minutes.

We ended up at The Turn House as we were hungry and they came up as the closest place to us. I am so glad we did. The food was phenomenal and plentiful. We ate far more than usual but could not help ourselves. THe food was too good to leave any behind, especially the fried green tomatoes. So very glad we were there during restaurant week to try everything.

We had a much better experience than the last time. We sat outside, on the far side of the patio, and we had the place to ourselves. I ordered the same thing I had last time - 3 course restaurant week - watermelon salad, summer spaghetti and blueberry dessert. I love the summer spaghetti. I wish they would add it to their regular menu.

Great service, food was as expected.. above average.. omelette didn't arrive as ordered but full adjustment on bill. Always my “go to” restaurant.

Don't get the crab cake! It was disgraceful for a Maryland restaurant to call this a cc. Very disappointing.

The restaurant is one of our most favorite family restaurants and we have been its customers since the CoHo Grill era! We come to the restaurant for brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner.

I was behind schedule, but I called them, and they accommodated us by pushing back the reservation by 30 minutes without any complaint. I was amazed, and immediately upon arrival, they gave us a table, and the staff took good care of us from the time we arrived until we left. The food was good, and the service was amazing. Overall, I was satisfied on my first visit.

I had been to the Turn House a few times before and always thought it was just okay - nothing to write home about. My husband and I made a last-minute decision to have dinner there, and it turned out to be a jackpot. I ordered chic wings and watermelon salad. I requested the chic wings to be fried crispy and they were. I did not bite into any mushy skin, and they were perfect with buffalo sauce. Watermelon salad was refreshing. it had more strawberries than watermelon, so the name was misleading but it was still good. My husband ordered oysters, truffle fries, and a tomato-based seafood stew (like a bouillabaisse). Oysters were a bit on the tiny side and lacked natural juice (looked dried out). Seafood stew was delicious, even though it was a tad bit on the salty side. Scallops and shrimps were cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed the tiny crab claws with bite-sized crab meat at the end. We finished the meal with a puff pastry dessert with berries and ice cream. Of course, the puff pastry lost it's crispiness from the juice of the berries and melted ice cream, but we still enjoyed it. It was a generously sized dessert to share. I ordered a cup of decaf, and it was the best decaf I have had in a long time. It was served piping hot, just the way I like it, and it was darker than most decaf I have had but not bitter. It was so good, I got concerned that it was a regular coffee. I had to confirm with the waitress that the coffee indeed was not a caffeinated one. One small complaint - once we got our entrees, the waitress did not check on us (it was a busy night). I had to wave down the host to refill our water and had to ask another waitress for the dessert menu. I did appreciate how the staff seemed to help each other out seamlessly. My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised by our great dining experience this time at the Turn House.

My husband wanted to experience The Turn House for his birthday. It was booked I believe for a private engagement on the 13th so we had to settle for the 12th. It was a first for both of us. The grounds and restaurant were beautiful. With a 6:30 reservation, we had maybe a 10-minute wait, because of overbooking. There was no wait if we wanted to dine outside, but the humidity forced us to choose inside. The restaurant was more casual than I expected, no white table cloths, and no posh, stuffy ambience like another golf course restaurant I am familiar with. The diners(many families)were casually dressed like they just popped in as a last-minute decision, in shorts and T-shirts. Our server, Madison, was charming and delightful. She asked all the right questions as it was our 1st time, to ensure our meal order was exactly as we wished. Our food arrived quickly. My medium rare burger was done to perfection. My husband's filet mignon was tender and delicious. Madison was attentive and checked on us at appropriate intervals. Madison made this dining experience a wonderful evening for us. We will be returning.

Perfect day! The weather was great so we ate outside. We had the nicest waitress and the food was excellent.

I had lunch with two friends on a Tuesday afternoon. We ate outside, overlooking some of the golf course. We had great service, and the food was very tasty, especially the brussel sprouts and crab dip. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My family had a reservation for dinner. We were seated and given menus. We had a lengthy wait to even give our drink orders, same thing for our entree orders. Finally the food came, that is everyone's but mine. Several minutes later after a family member asked about my food we were told there was a delay and it would be out shortly. Meanwhile we waited so long that the others in the party were nearly finished eating. Finally they brought my food and it was stone cold, not even slightly luke warm. It was not edible. I advised the waitress and she said she would send it back. Then another woman, apparently a manager appeared. Another person in my party asked how long it would be to have another brought to me and she asked what is our timetable. We explained everyone was almost finished eating. She said she had no idea how long it would take. I told her to forget it as no one else would want to continue to sit there waiting for me to eat. She asked if I wanted something else but everyone was done eating and I said no, as who knows how long that would take or even if it would be cooked. She then asked if I wanted a dessert menu! They were actually not even that busy. It appears as if this place is overrated. Too long a waiting period and to be brought ice cold food when everyone else was nearly finished eating.
I would certainly never go back there again and would never recommend this restaurant unless you want not just slow service but uncooked food! The woman who apparently was the manager did not even appear to be that interested in the problem and was not helpful. She never appeared again. We just left.
