Sitting outside and enjoying the wine, the dinner and the beautiful day was amazing. The tuna nicoise was so light and delicious. Perfect for a sunny afternoon on the patio.
As always, the food was great. We enjoyed the oysters on the half shell, folllowed by my pasta & my wife's lobster roll. Unfortunately, they no longer had the soft shell crabs as advertized on the web site. I don't know how often a web site is updated. The food service was backed up, so we had to forego dessert due to the long wait.
Our waiter Sammy was attentive & professional....a pure delight! We were a table of 4, 2 couples catching up, & we're not rushed in the least!!
The food and service was good to very good. However when I made the reservations originally I thought the Turn House offered an Easter Buffet. They did in the past and I was disappointed to find out from staff that it was discontinued last September. However that was not noted when I made reservations but since it was online I did not ask.
My wife and I had great time. The soft shell crab dinner had a little to much batter, but overall everything was great. Our server, Nadia was great. She had a great attitude and was very professional. She was very helpful with picking our entrees and drinks.
We went for the prime rib special & weren't disappointed. It was perfectly prepared & served with mashed potatoes & asparagus. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive.
Our organization held an annual banquet at The Turn House for the past 3 years. They have been an amazing host. The communication is responsive whenever I need to change plans or modify headcounts. The atmosphere in the room overlooking the golf course is cozy for our evening event. Many guests say that the food is excellent. The onsite staff are kind and attentive. Even though it is tucked away at a golf course, it is a place worth visiting for lunch or dinner as well.

I had lunch at the Turn House on Tuesday, after Googling the best crab dip in Columbia. The restaurant is located inside of the Hobbit Glen Golf course clubhouse, which sits on a beautiful property in an exclusive residential area. The decor of the dining room I was in is giving Industrial Chic, lots of TV's and a beautiful view of an outside patio. I had extremely high expectations. I am a Marylander, very well versed on Maryland crab meat emphasis on Jumbo lump. I was greeted by Lamont the Host who was very pleasant. My Server was Patrick who was wonderful attentive and pleasant. I started with the crab dip the presentation was good however overall fail. Definitely not lump, or back fin, or claw meat, but tasted very much like canned unbelievable!. The consistency was loose and it lacked all around flavor and texture. I sent it back. After being disappointed I then tried the NE Clam and Bay Scallop Chowder the difference between a soup and a chowder is the consistency. (Note my photo), it was thin, lacked any richness loaded with pork and tasteless. I had a side Caesar Salad and I had the Crabcake Sandwich it was lump crab meat but lacked flavor and was simply okay. My entire meal was so disappointing on so many levels. Crab dip was my main reason for the visit. Again Lamont and Patrick were awesome. .

We recently hosted our 20-year high school reunion at Turn House and had an overwhelmingly positive experience. Denise was very responsive and helpful during the planning process and when we panicked a week ahead of time as our final headcount was half of what we’d expected, she graciously allowed us to cut out one of the dining rooms we had reserved to reduce the budget. Venues are often not that flexible (and really don’t have to be when you sign a contract). The space itself was also lovely, with access to the outdoor patio and beautiful views. The food was delicious and service staff was extremely friendly. The only thing I wish we had had was access to a sound system so we could play our own music. We will definitely be thinking about Turn House again for future events and you should too. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

Our server was awesome. We had the crab dip (a bit salty) and crispy brussel sprouts. Really great.
Braised short ribs with braised greens and polenta. Was really great. Will be going back again!

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Turn House. It was a small event with a luncheon as the reception. Denise and Kayla were great! With Kayla on-site, she worked with us extensively to make the day as perfect as it could be. Kayla really worked hard to get everything done leading up to the day and really went above and beyond. We had planned for it to be outside on the patio since is was a small event, but the weather had other plans. However, the fact that Kayla and her team were ready to pivot and make the necessary arrangements to make that happen at the last minute if the weather broke was extraordinary.
The appetizers and luncheon was fabulous. All the food was delicious and on point! The staff there were beyond attentive and made sure all of our guests enjoyed their time and meal.
Overall, the Turn House delivers! Everyone there is goes the extra mile to ensure a perfect event day. Thank you Kayla and team!

The Turn House was truly the perfect venue for our event. Kayla, the day of contact, was outstanding!! She was on top of everything and didn't hesitate with any questions or comments I had. Chef Eric planned a wonderful meal for the adults and the kids. He really understood what I wanted and he prepared a delicious meal for all of the guests. I also loved how the Turn House presented the adult buffet, it really felt like you were being "served". All of your staff were top notch, from being super friendly to stepping up with anything we needed, it all went smoothly. Your venue is beautiful inside and out and would highly recommend the Turn House for any special event.
Parking: Plenty of parking for all of your guests.

I’ve lived in the area for a while but have never been here so I decided to give this place a try. My server Bella suggested the shredded potato skins and braised short rib and I was not disappointed! Everything was so excellent from the food to the service from Bella. I will definitely be back!
