⭐ 1/5 — Very Disappointing Experience at Upper Crust Pizza

I had a really bad experience at Upper Crust Pizza and honestly wouldn’t recommend it. The service was extremely slow — it took almost an hour for our order to arrive, and when it finally did, the pizza was cold and soggy. The crust, which is supposed to be their specialty, was hard and tasted stale.

To make things worse, the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful when we pointed out the issue. Instead of offering a replacement or an apology, they just shrugged it off. The place didn’t feel clean either, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming.

For the price they charge, I expected much better quality and service. Definitely not worth it — there are plenty of other pizza places that actually care about their food and customers.

I had the chance to visit Upper Crust Pizzeria & Deli on my recent business trip to Columbia, and it did not disappoint. I had no much free time to eat something and that's why I went to the nearest pizza house. I ordered their signature specialty pie, the “Mt. Everest”, which beautifully met its name with layers of bold flavors. Thanks a lot, guys!

Upper crust is a go to place for takeout orders. Their pizzas are tasty and there’s a good selection of types of pizza size of pizza and crust. The service is friendly. We’ve been going to this place for years and have never been disappointed. Check it out.

I was recommended this place from VA. I saw the high ratings and was intrigued. The reviews are absolutely not lying, this is amazing brick oven pizza. The crust is phenomenal, I genuininely can't believe this is pizza made in a casual pizza place. Anywhere else, this pizza would be marked up and sold for triple the price. They did not skimp on toppings either like most other halal pizza spots. I recommend the pepperoni and italian sausage toppings.

The owner and staff were friendly, and provided great, on time, service.

Highly recommend this spot, can't wait to go again!

I moved to Ellicott City last year and Upper Crust is right down the street from me so I have been meaning to try it. I finally ordered the pizza yesterday and my only regret is that I didn't try it sooner. I ordered a pepperoni and a white cheese pizza and both were delicious. White pizza is my favorite but it's hard to find a good white pizza. This one was the best I've ever had and the pepperoni may have been the best as well. And I've had pizza from New York and Chicago so this says a lot... We will definitely be regular customers from now on. Highly recommended!

Pizza was great. We ordered the Buffalo chicken and pepperoni and sausage pizza. Both were really delicious. Crust was nice and crispy. We will definitely come back not just for the food but also the owner who made us laugh.
