We ordered crabs yesterday, and honestly, they were some of the best we’ve ever had! They were so good I had to take a moment to write this review. We’ve tried plenty of crab spots, but this one is definitely at the top of our list now. The crabs were perfectly seasoned—not bland at all—and the service was excellent. Our order was ready right on time. This will be our go-to spot from now on!

My last crab find while leaving MD was closed but Google sent me 30 minutes off my path to this lovely spot. I'm Always looking for live #1 males so that I can grill. And BOOM, Conowingo was on point. Buy a dzn get 1/2 dzn free and many were heavy. I also purchased crab cakes that cooked up deliciously. And I got 4 frzn soft shell. My crab heaven.

We spent a night nearby during a family trip and found Conowingo Crabs on Google Maps. Hands down one of the most memorable times for us! The crabs were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the price was honestly the best we've paid for such a nice and fulfilling crab meal, and the staff were very welcoming and generous.
We ate at one of the picnic tables to the side of the shop. The experience reminded us fondly of the crawfish boil in the South. We will definitely be back for more when we come by the area next time.

We were able to walk in and get the x-large crabs, which had plenty of seasoning and meat. The maryland crab soup and the crab cake sandwich were also awesome. Would definitely come back
No indoor seating for dine-in, but there are picnic tables outside.

After living in the area for a year, my husband and I decided to try the crabs here for the first time and they were amazing! We got extra larges and we were not disappointed. Every crab was filled. Also tried the crab pretzels and cream of crab which was awesome as well. This will now be a regular spot for us.
Bought a dozen XL crabs, and what others are saying IS true. Every one was full and just the right amount of season. I believe we found our new Crab Shack 🦀 😋 p

My son and I stopped here on Saturday on our bikes. We bought a bag of fresh steamed crabs and sat outside and ate them. The owners were super nice and even brought us some paper towels out. Crabs were fantastic. Will be stopping again to try some of the other items out. Awesome place!

I also recommend the cream of crab, so good! We drive from Charlestown to here and it’s definitely worth it. Support this small business, the family has been kind every time I have been in. 10 stars!
