Pen Oaks Winery had some of the nicest wines. We were served by the winemakers wife who was friendly, busy and knowledgeable. The German style whites and reds were delicious. They have a spiced red wine that was different and delightful, it sort of tastes like Fall or the holidays in a bottle. The prices were fair. This is a small family winery so the tasting is done in plastic cups but this does not distract from the quality of the wines. I highly recommend stopping by for some wine tastings.

Beautiful setting tucked off of 97 serving really good German style and Italian wines. The vineyard manager gave us a great background on the wines and vineyard. We'll be back.

We enjoyed the tasting. We decided to get a bottle and sit outside on the porch on this enjoyable day. The Gewurtztraminer was really tasty and would recommend it if you're just getting a bottle without the tasting.

Iron Order Ole Bay Crew and friends want to thank Penn Oaks for accommodating us in our charity run for The Baltimore Station. Their hospitality was fantastic even though they were closed preparing for a private event! Their wines are great and their venue is beautiful!

Worth a trip, a stop, and nice wines. The tasting hall is big enough for wedding party, company party, or sitting on their wrap around porch enjoying some wine and company.

Do you enjoy at least two of the following activities? (1) Sitting quietly. (2) Drinking good wine that is reasonably priced. If you answered yes then Penn Oaks is for you. A welcoming and knowledgeable family run business. Two and four legged children friendly. Outside food permitted.

Very laid back and chill. No pressure, ample indoor seating and some outdoor seating on the porches. Wines are crisp, clean and fruity.

Pours are sooo small and expensive. 1/2 oz for 10 wines. To small to share, a total of 5 oz for 10. That's a really expensive glass of wine! And the force are so small. You can't share to decide if you want to buy more so you have to spend $20 for two people and the wines were just okay
