I decided to try this place today for lunch. I got a cheeseburger, onion rings and decided to try peas and dumplings. Because people rave about it around here. I love peas and I like dumplings, well this was slop. There must have been 5 lbs of sugar in this soup. I almost threw up. I asked for mayo on my burger and got miracle whip. Nothing pisses me off more than this. Why ppl don't know the difference between the two. So needless to say, my first trip will probably be my last.

This is a good local takeout place with a couple of tables. Not much atmosphere, but the food was good and the service friendly and fast. It was all homemade and fresh. Crab soup was delicious. Try the specials for what is freshest.

We would’ve probably driven right past this tiny restaurant if we hadn’t been looking for it! The first place we went was closed and this was nearby. The nice lady taking our order recommended any of the specials as they are homemade. That certainly got my attention.
Crab soup and pea & dumplings soup had to be tasted. I’ve never even heard of pea&dumpling soup! My husband‘s crab soup was very good, but my pea and dumpling soup was outstanding. Sweet and creamy and just not what I expected at all.
Now my husband‘s crabcake had good flavor. But, it was very small. The cocktail sauce on the side was bigger than the crabcake.
My crab salad was delicious and fresh and a nice size serving. The homemade coleslaw was also good. I Had enough crab salad, and coleslaw to take with me for another meal.
The prices were more than reasonable!! Stop and try the specials! Yummy!

We ordered a Crab Cake sandwich and a Fried Flounder sandwich to go. Food was bland and surprisingly expensive. Make sure you ask for any condiments or you'll just get a dry flounder fillet or crab cake on bread. Store was very clean and the staff was polite. The best part was we took our sandwiches and ate them at the gazebo on the dock at the end of main street

We got food to go before the ferry. Kind of reminds me of the Seinfeld soup n**** no bs kind of service but man the crab cake sandwich is divine. No cereal, just meat, so yes it’s pricy at $20 but when will you be back? Live a little. Recommend.
