do not go here. came in to order a small cake and the price was outrageous. on top of that one of the employees was very disrespectful towards me when assisting me.

I ordered a gluten-free cake, chocolate, from gold belly to send to my daughter for her birthday And Thanksgiving. Her house was full and everyone tried the cake. No one could eat it, because it was so dry. It was $99 to ship and pay for the cake.

Do not order online. Did not ship order until I called. Couldn’t find order … then order arrived 12 days later with one ice pack and melted. Very disappointing. For $100 cake.

I grew up in Maryland and moved to Florida years ago. I just had my sister send me an Old Bay Buttercream cake for my birthday and... Amazing!!! Arrived packaged well, fresh, and my taste buds will never be the same. Who would have thought, but I'm one grateful brother. Well done S.I.B.C.

I’ve always liked a smith island cake but never went crazy over them, then I tried the coconut one last holiday season and it was fantastic. I had to pick up dessert for a housewarming and saw they had a lemon cake available on Goldbelly, so I figured why not.

This cake was a huge hit. Everybody loved it and kept asking where it came from. It’s lemony and tart but not overly sweet. It is exactly what you want in a lemon cake. I’ll be ordering it again.

I highly recommend a visit to this unique piece of Americana. I called ahead and requested a “shipping ready” cake so I could bring it on my road trip and surprise my friends 1,000 miles away, 2-days later. The folks there are super friendly and I really enjoyed meeting them. The cake made it perfectly and blew my friends away!

Ordered a vanilla birthday cake from Goldbelly. BEST CAKE EVER!!!!! Buttercream is absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have made it better. Layers were perfection too. Cake was packaged wonderfully. I couldn’t be happier. You can tell the cakes are handmade too. This review is coming from a family of “from scratch” bakers. A+, highly recommend you order a cake from this company for your special occasion!!!

I purchased a red velvet cake to get delivered to my sister in law and her husband during some rough times for them. delivery happened on time and as expected, but had a little glitch on the website where it showed my order cancelled. I sort of freaked out and called the number on the site. Brian answered almost immediately and even though shipped 400 cakes that day(!!!!) took time to talk me through what happened and wanted to make 100% sure I was happy and taken care of, he even texted me tracking info and wished us a happy thanksgiving... thats the type of customer service you don't always see these days. I wish I lived close by so I could visit in person(I'm in FL), but their delivery and customer service is outstanding. I will absolutely be ordering more from them in the future. oh and my family LOVED the cake, the best they said they have ever had.

Purchased a slice of Smith Island Cake at an Ocean City Market. Asked clerk if it had a freshness date on it which it didn't.
Cake tasted absolutely horrible old and nasty freezer burnt or whatever maybe picking up other freezer odors not sure but really bad!! Waste of money
As a company you really should be wayy more concerned about your Cake and how long it sits somewhere frozen or not!!! I dare you to try one of these apparently old pieces from OC Market and tell me it's good!! Profit is NOT everything quality control is important and good tasting Cake is paramount when in the Cake business!!

Stopped in to pick-up cakes for a holiday celebration. Everything was excellent! I will definitely order again, but will probably use the delivery system offered. Unique and delicious baked goods.
