The food is fine, it's good after work on a Friday. I'm not a crab person, but my coworkers didn't complain about the crabs. I personally had shrimp and fries. The drinks are good, nice and strong. This is a good place to gather with coworkers for happy hour. It's my 2nd time here, and it does the job. I went around the 4 o'clock time slot, right after work, before a big rush came in. ??

I hate to do this but fair is fair. I usually order take out and I noticed a huge change in the food and the serving sizes. I ordered crab cakes (they were over cooked) and it had some type of nasty filler in it. The new owners are seriously out of touch with the customers. They need to stop cutting corners and making the managers job harder. She’ll soon run out of excuses for them. Also they changed the serving size for most orders to a smaller container and still charge the same price for the larger containers. We were charged over $100 for basic food they can easily make. We are a larger family and used to love their food. We’ll find another place to go at this point until Fat Boys go back to the great quality they once had. How they go from 5 star to almost 1 in food quality so fast. It’s obvious the new owners are cutting corners, over charging and not caring about the dynamics of their customer base

Fatboys is Not what it once was before it changed hands to it's current. The crabcakes have lump displayed on the outside while the Inside is Filled with something other than crabmeat. I've been coming here since and before this was FatBoys Ponchos and Peppes this is currently a downward spiral. Why do I get my fish home and this amount of Grease is left behind? Make it make sense! I keep coming because the staff is so welcoming but this food has got to get better!!!!!

Tonight's dining experience comes via Fatboy Crab House in Crofton, MD. I decided to buy different items and plate them myself at home. I did not eat at the restaurant. I have a broiled crab cake, shrimp fettuccine pasta alfredo with broccoli and sliced bell peppers, their seasonal vegetables and a bowl of cream of crab. The crab cake was flavorful but a little over cooked. The cream of crab had too much ol' Bay seasoning ,but it was definitely good someone just got heavy handed. The seasonal vegetables were excellent. I topped my meal off with a iced cold Coke Cola. I have no complaints as the meal overall was good. I give this spot a well deserved 3.2 out of 5. I would definitely come back to eat here again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Drinks were all alcohol, food was disgusting, no actual silverware - ALL plasticware, and was assaulted in the bathroom by an inebriated guest and management did nothing! If I could rate this establishment a zero, I would!

GO AT YOUR OWN RISK. The serves was the Worse I have ever experienced. The Manger served us ice cold mozzarella stick. They weren't even cooked. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, it never came. I finally asked for a refund after waiting 40 minutes. The manager who served me the uncooked mozzarella stick, tried to charge me a second time for chicken Alfredo. I take my elderly mother out to eat twice a week, never have I experience such horrible service and food.

I should've known something was up when you have to pay for the crabs separately, up front and beforehand. Never will i ever pay for crabs before i see them. They ought to be ashamed of serving what they served me.

Just in the area visiting family. Fish Friday is a GOOD Friday. I searched the web for a place near by and Fat Boys Crabhouse was in the vicinity. The order of fried filet whiting with one side of hush puppies was excellent. I added an order of coleslaw and key lime pie fir dessert. The fish was hot, crunchy, and well seasoned, prepared in fresh oil. The hush puppies were great! Not doughy or overcooked. I ordered, waited a minimum of 10-15 minutes. It was perfect. I headed home to enjoy my lunch.There was enough for my dinner as well. You are given 3 large pieces of fish with 10 hush puppies, both for $14.99 plus tax. The side of slaw is an ample portion for 2.99. The key lime pie was decadent! The meal was very reasonably priced. While waiting for my order, I noticed the many specials. Love to try quite a few of them! Particularly the fish tacos (Cod)!!When in the area, I certainly will frequent Fat Boys Crabhouse again and again!
