Delicious, high-quality food. The servers were so sweet and quick! They were very attentive and the environment was very cozy. The art was gorgeous and everything was clean. You can tell they put a lot of effort and passion into everything. This was my first time and i’ll definitely return!

Chris and Leslie make my mother’s birthday dinner truly an amazing time. Chris answered all my questions and made sure he accommodated all 26 guests in our party. Leslie was very patient and was our server all alone in such a big party but had excellent service 10/10 will definitely be coming back!!!!!

However, I didnt get it because I had a taste for a tamale (which was good) and other food SO I'll swing back by here another day for lunch and have the chimichanga.

What a quaint little gem of a restaurant. I was passing through the Crofton area and decided to stop in. My first time visiting but was really impressed by the beautiful cultural decor, the service was great & the tacos were tasty & filling.

Went there after craving birria tacos. I went to Sandrasitas which was clean and fully stocked, but don't have a Mexican ambiance or complimentary nachos and salsa. They are great spot happy hour. I then went to a familiar favorite -LA TOLTECA! I was seated immediately in a widow seat and was eating chips and salsa 3 minutes later. I went to wash my hands and was pleased to find a CLEAN MODERN BATHROOM. ❤️ You could visit alone, or on a date but this is a family oriented establishment. Every time I am there I observe group sizes up to 8 with grands and kids enjoying themselves. MY BIRRIA TACOS WERE THE BEST I've TASTED ANYWHERE!! That's why I am actually writing this review. They were MEATY and the sauce had onions and peppers. It was sooo good! The rice was okay, I prefer it with a bit more sazon, cilantro, and onions 😋. It's next to a large parking lot that probably gets full on the weekends. The last time I was there I treated myself to the FAJITAS!! THEY WERE ONNN POINT annnnd the portion was so large that I ate them for lunch the next day as well. I love this place. I hope you enjoy!

I love this place, I come here very often for these past months, the food is always good, when you come it ATLEAST 4 people have sun bright smiles looking right at you making you feel comfortable and this atmosphere is top notch and the chairs are so decorative and bright what’s not to like? But there is on aspect that I feel like they could do better on that’s the music, it’s authentic Mexican but it’s the same songs over and over I can even remember the lyrics, If there were most generes of music to be played here, it would definitely make the atmosphere and eating experience a lot better, since you’re hearing popular Latino songs or the romance aspect of bachata. Some other generes of music playing would make this place shine, but other than that, I would absolutely highly recommend this place to my whole entire family and even my pet dog if he would understand me. But this place is amazing everyone should definitely come try it out.

It's rare to find a restaurant with the level of consistency of La Tolteca. We go there often, and invariably find the food to be really, really good, regardless of what we order. The service is also first-rate - as a rule, someone will show up at our table within 1-2 minutes of us getting seated, to provide chips and salsa and take our drink orders. The food arrives quickly and the servers check back often to make sure everyone's needs are being met. The atmosphere is authentically Mexican including the music, which spans a variety of sub-genres. Occasionally it's a bit on the loud side but not to the point where you can't carry on a conversation. They have great margaritas, and as a lifelong hophead I particularly appreciate the 32 ounce Mexican drafts. (You can also get 16 oz.) Great food, great service, and reasonable prices - what's not to like? If you're really into Mexican food, this is the place to go.

My wife and I came to eat dinner and we were greeted by the hostess, and seated. Several minutes went by and other people were seated. We were not served water but the other customers did. Several more minutes went by and the other customers got to order their food. The waiters finally came to our table and I told them my observations. No apologies or anything. The food was ok but customer service was not good.

Menu looked amazing with a variety of options, even had a lot of vegetarian options, however, it was a huge let down. The food was very greasy and bland to the point that we needed to supplement with lots of fresh jalapeños and sauces to make it palatable. Also, this might be the only place we’ve visited where an order of dip doesn’t come with chips.
Husband and I went for lunch today and got the street tacos. So delicious! Flavor was great, meat was cooked perfectly, and the price was pretty darn great!
