I was passing through and found this gem! Cute shop with specialty coffee and drinks. I got the green tea match and mocha coffee with oatmilk!
Great coffee and service. The housemade syrups are amazing. The lavander latte is the best I've had in the state.
First before I get too wordy I just wanna highlight: they roast their own beans somewhere else in town, but they do roast their own beans. they make their own syrups in house. They use real Ghirardelli chocolate and they melt it down to make their chocolate syrup. And a few of their other syrups looked equally delicious.
The nice young lady I grilled about our caffeinated liquid desire was extremely knowledgeable and answered every single question acceptably And she’s only been in the industry for a year so I don’t know if I should thank the owner or Google for her education, but she knew all the answers
All right, now I’m gonna get a little wordy.
Wonderful little shop on a wonderful little street.
Sitting across the way drinking my latte and just watching the rain come down I could have easily felt like I was in an exotic location overseas
If it wasn’t for the giant Street, the double sidewalks and the cornucopia of colored cars I could’ve felt like I was in Baden Württemberg.
The wonderful aroma of fresh ground coffee will begin to draw you in before you even open the door
When you do open the door the aroma enwraps you like a hug from a loved one you haven’t seen in a while
No matter what you get here you’ll be satisfied
And if you’re not satisfied, when you exit the door turn left and it’s a very short walk over the next cliff.
The last thing I wanna say is, I sat here drinking my coffee and a latte so it took me a moment before I realized there was this very interesting gap between the two buildings where the base camp is located and their next-door neighbor.
They appear to be connected at the first floor level by an enclosed walk bridge. I didn’t feel this on the floor plan when I was inside and my curiosity to know what it is, where it goes and what I’ll find if I go across it was overwhelming but then I was distracted… a gate. I suddenly became aware of a gate.
There is a gate that closes off the access between the buildings
And I suddenly had the desire to go and explore to see where it lead
Maybe next time
Maybe next time I’ll find something amazing down that path.
You need coffee from Base Camp.
I always stop here when traveling to get a cold brew coffee
Good place to get a decent coffee.
Cappuccino was quite good!
There is overpriced local art for sale on the walls, even if it isn't selling, it certainly adds to a pleasant atmosphere and fits their vibe. The service was pleasant.
You can add CBD in your coffee for an extra few bucks. Not my cup of tea, but hey, it is all legal now.
My Carmel latte was fantastic
Great local roaster that I always try to stop at on my way through Cumberland. Skews on the darker roast side for specialty coffee, very good value for quality beans and nice scones/cookies as well.
Excellent experience today! Went in for some coffee beans and a latte. Barista recommended maple brown sugar latte, which I never would have chosen for myself, but I figured give it a try. Long story short, I was glad I got a large because my boyfriend kept asking for sips and drank about half of it! Not only was it delicious, but the foam art was Beautiful. (Should have taken a picture). Staff was very friendly as well. 10/10
Basecamp has the best original roast and excellent customer service. The employee at the counter was very helpful, finding me the right roast for my taste. The Original blend is probably the best coffee I've ever tasted in my life, I can even drink it black and I typically never drink black coffee!
Great coffee and their scones are to die for.

Great Cortado.
Best coffee around 100%
One of the BEST Lattes I have ever had! We always try to stop at local coffee places when traveling - this one was so good! The atmosphere is very chill, the staff are super friendly. 100% will be back when in town next!
One of the best coffee shops period. They roast their own beans. Make their own syrups. Have really yummy baked goods. And the staff in atmosphere is awesome. If you love local coffee shops, you gotta check this place out.
Really cute place and the coffee is very good
