This place has a lot of great things about it but be prepared to WAIT. It took nearly an hour and a half between waiting in line and getting our food on a busy Sunday.

This place has a lot of seating and a great vibe. The staff members are super. We were disappointed by our meal. The pancakes were dense and dry. The eggs were loaded with black pepper. The potatoes lacked seasoning. We ate our food because we were hungry and had paid for it. Maybe we should have ordered different meals? A woman next to us had French toast that looked appetizing. The place seems very popular, so it may just be a question of personal taste. They offer a large selection of baked goods and beverages.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast. On the outside looks like a small coffee shop but on the inside it’s huge! They have a whole dining area hidden in the back. (Maybe not hidden but definitely not noticeable) the staff were friendly and we got our drinks/food fast. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our bagel sandwiches. She got the lox on a jalapeño bagel and I had a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Both super tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Loved this place until today. Went in and waited 15 minutes to order. No problem. Very busy , no problem. The person behind the counter asked if dining in or take out. Told them dining in, was given a number for the table. People that were right before us served. Don’t mind the wait. 3 more tables served that were seated after us. I understand busy. The waitress walked by the table and said they had our food to go. They thought we were take out. I have a number, not take out. Said she would bring it. This was 1 hour after we entered the place. We did get our drinks within 10 minutes. The food was brought. My plate felt slightly warm. Everything we ordered was room temperature- cold . My son goes to counter and said our food is cold. Sent the manager . My son said we either want new food within 15-20 minutes or a refund. This employee came to our table. He said , We are busy. I can’t get food to you that soon. My son explained , we understand your busy, the wait initially was not the problem, it was that we received cold food from an error from your establishment. He wasn’t believing it had been made for take out. Said the waitress told us that. He said he could see how it happened , that we paid with a card. Not buying that, many patrons pay with a card and we have a number. We said we will pay for the drink and no food. The table felt he was hostile. Like this was somehow our fault. He left and must have went back to the kitchen. He had a different tune when he returned. He apologized and said he refunded the money. Not in my bank as of yet but will check. The dilemma is I didn’t look at the receipt till later. He didn’t return my tip. Since we felt his hostility, didn’t feel tip was warranted. The food looked delicious but none of us could eat cold waffles. Cold sausage , cold potatoes . And cold eggs. This experience put a damper on the rest of the day for all of us. We specifically came to Cumberland for breakfast at this place coming from Hagerstown and Morgantown. I am so disappointed in the manager skills and how we were treated. This restaurant had a great reputation in my book. This ruined it. We just wanted hot food in a timely
Manner since we had already Bren there over 1 hour. Like I said The initial wait wasn’t a problem. Cold food was. How hard would it have been to serve us again within 15-20 minutes to keep a customer satisfied?

I've been here several times and the food is excellent, they have great vegetarian options! Be careful of going during peak hours because there may be a line (but it's worth it!)

This is our go-to spot for breakfast and coffee in Cumberland.
They really have created something amazingly special here in Downtown. The location is perfectly centered in town, and the atmosphere and vibes inside are great. The building is absolutely beautiful inside with plenty of seating either in the new area on the first floor, or in the secluded upstairs away from the hustle and bustle. The staff are always amazing and friendly-especially Grace and Suzanna-they know me by name.
If you're a coffee lover, they have coffee flights with multiple flavors of different varieties based on a different theme each week.
Their food is equally as amazing. Always has amazing breakfast, and occasionally we will come for lunch and we highly recommend the chicken quesadilla for lunchtime. All their baked goods are handmade in-house-they are sweet and delicious.
The only downside is this place is very popular and there is always a line-but that's part of the experience. In Japan they told me lines are good things, because it means there is something there to look forward to that makes something worth the wait.

Happened upon this adorable cafe on the way back from a trip.
Super awesome experience, food was delicious, good size portions and their snickerdoodle coffee was bomb ☺️
The quaint atmosphere on the one way street really makes it.
Very dog friendly outside, several people had their dogs with them, wish I had my girl with us to enjoy, next time.

Great little spot near the scenic train ride. Order at the counter, they deliver to your table. We got an egg scramble bowl and blueberry crunch pancakes. Both delicious! The coffee flight was also a treat. We had originally seen the website when searching for a place to go, but the website is focused on bible study and not the menu, pictures, or pricing, so we initially skipped over it, without any information to go by. When walking by at another time we decided to give it a try. Worth the visit, but the website needs an overhaul.
