Eleven of us, which included two toddlers, enjoyed their famous hot dogs. Our son in law enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much he wants to make it a pre Christmas tradition. Service was a little rough, most likely due to the crowd, and one teen's dog was lukewarm. Curtis is a fixture in Cumberland. I would definitely encourage people to go.

We wandered into Curtis Famous Weiners as Plan B and it turned out to be an awesome experience. The staff is super welcoming and friendly and tell you straight up what their specialities are if you've never been there before. 👌👌 The weiner with chili and onions was really good. I'd eat it again!!

I love hotdogs- this was the worst one I’ve ever had. An insult to the food. The dogs were small, the buns were gnarled and the chili on top tasted weeks old. The quality of the food served here was alarming. On top of that, there is only carryout- I was just driving into town and begged to use the bathroom. The owner was nice enough to let me in, but I was disgusted by what I found. The entire restaurant is being used like a garage storage space with like dusty bins and buckets on all the seats. I tell the guy making my food that I’m here from Baltimore and he starts insulting my city saying you can’t go there without getting carjacked? And then he serves me the worst hotdogs of my life. Honestly I’m concerned for the people of Cumberland- I just read plenty of 5 star reviews of this place. Please, I’m begging you, go to a big city and get a dog from any cart on the side of the street. You deserve better than this place.

Our family and several friends were in Cumberland on a Track and Yak adventure. We peddled into the train station and were hungry. I quickly realized we were near this place, and my son and I ran over with all the cash we could pull together because we didn’t carry our wallets or purses with us while out peddling on the tracks and knowing we would then be kayaking. We were greeted so enthusiastically by the owner and immediately the owner wanted to accommodate our group knowing we only had a small amount of cash. We WILL be back, as always, for the obvious reason that we love the food and it’s been a tradition for my family to stop here while in Cumberland, but also because the owner is a reminder that there ARE good people in this world that just want to be kind and are genuinely good. We will be back to patronize this place every time we’re in Cumberland!
