Super friendly staff, really felt like I went back in time regarding the hospitality of customer service. Definitely recommend stopping in for their hotdog with meat and raw onion toppings. While simple it felt very nostalgic, so happy that places like these still exist!

first their chili sauce taste like hamburger and water. change the chili sauce. here a recipe to try for chili sauce. in a crockpot fill with hamburger, 2 large diced onions, 6 heaping tablespoons of chil powder, 1 cup ketsup, 1/3 cup yellow mustard. fill crockpot with water. Stir till the hamburger divides, add 2 tablespoons of salt stir. Cook overnight high temperature 8 hours. Boil the hotdogs and fry in grease it makes a better hotdog. try the chili recipe its a good old country West Virginia recipe.

This place is amazing. The food tasted great and it had very affordable prices. The owner is third generation and truly cares about his restaurant. The owner and stuff gave great service and gave me hilarious conversations as I ate. This is the only restaurant up to date that lets me eat the food, then mail the money when I get back home 😭🔥. They have piles of mail from people who ordered months ago. They are one of the oldest Ma and Pa restaurants in in the area.“ 6 inches is enough” 🤣

I have been going here since I was 5 for 45 years now . Today I ordered at the counter with one customer in booths . Another came and ordered 2 after me and he was given his order immediately while I waited 30 minutes while the person was waiting on the booth the owner ignored me because he was too busy talking they now use terrible quality food and have no customer service Never Again

Why would you eat anywhere else while you are in Cumberland?? I’m already planning future road trips to visit this place again! This is the quintessential experience for this area. Gino was half the experience, because that guy seriously rocks! The dogs are made to coney perfection, with crisp onions, and excellent sauce. The atmosphere felt like stepping into a time capsule from my youth, maybe even my dad’s. Seriously, make sure you don’t miss this one.

Eleven of us, which included two toddlers, enjoyed their famous hot dogs. Our son in law enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much he wants to make it a pre Christmas tradition. Service was a little rough, most likely due to the crowd, and one teen's dog was lukewarm. Curtis is a fixture in Cumberland. I would definitely encourage people to go.
