Fratelli’s is a once-a-year tradition for my family and I when we take the kids to the Polar Express. So, we likely see the restaurant during their holiday rush. With that in mind, it seems a bit more competitive to get a reservation, so we will definitely keep that in mind for next year, since we don’t want to give up this coveted tradition!

This year, our visit was just as satisfying as we remember. We order an array of appetizers, and highly recommend the calamari and crab dip most of all. Each of us ordered something different, from pizza to Bolognese to eggplant Parmesan. Very tasty and nice and hot. Portions are very fair, we even had some to take home.

My husband ate his seasonal creme brûlée, in-house, which was divine. The burnt almond torte cake was so highly recommended by our server, I switched from my regular lemon cream cake, and sampled a bite before it was boxed up. I look forward to digging into that tomorrow! Authentic and not-too-rich taste.

Finally, our server, Evan, was so excellent. He seemed so unfazed by the totally packed restaurant and what I’m sure was an overwhelming amount of orders and requests coming from tables and the kitchen! Hats off to him for keeping his cool and making our experience so hospitable. We love Fratellis and can’t wait for our stop in 2026!

Fratelli’s is a go-to in the area for a nice meal or just a date night. I confess, it is always a runner-up choice for us compared to Ottaviani’s down town. In that comparison though, Fratelli’s consistent and slightly earlier hours are a win. As to the food- it is top notch with some exceptions. I loved the Bolognese on our recent visit, but “special spices” seems to include nutmeg… which is bizarre and almost ruined the experience- I liked the other flavors, and would like to order it again, but the nutmeg flavor is really a deterrent. Appetizers- Roma bruschetta hit the spot with freshness and great balance between garlic and good olive oil. My wife’s meal was excellent- no complaints. Lava cake was good but small and pricey considering it looked like it came pre-fab from someplace not-local. Wine selection was plentiful, no brand names noticed, but that usually doesn’t bother me. Pinot gricio was mediocre to good, would probably expect a better quality of wine when dining out at a place that markets a fine meal. All in all- a solid runner up choice in comparison to Ottaviani’s down town, but the location, convenience, and consistent hours are a huge benefit in comparison to the first choice.

I don’t get the hype. First the restaurant was really dark and didn’t have a lot of decor. Second was out of the appetizers we got - crab dip and calamari (which I recommend getting marinara and NOT diablo sauce for) - the only “good” part was the bread for the dip. Entree wise my nephews herb crusted salmon was phenomenal, and my sisters shrimp scampi (although heavy on the garlic) was nicely done. My seafood diablo, while the seafood was nicely cooked and there was plenty, the sauce was all pepper to where it wasn’t really enjoyable and barely edible. The desserts were a hit. The crème brûlée changes flavors. While I had the hazelnut, which didn’t taste anything like hazelnut, it was a good base crème brûlée. One of my nephews got the lava cake, and while food was very dark and surprisingly didn’t come with any ice cream. My other nephews chocolate beesting cake was the best part of the meal and we’d all race back for that. There was no wine/beer list we were shown and the moscato and Chardonnay my sister and I had weren’t be all end all brands but nice enough. We’d all go back to try one more thing and absolutely get the beesting cake, but otherwise we went and that’s enough.

The food is Great my NY strip was cooked perfectly, my entire party loved the food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice not any immediate issues, will say someone in my party had to wait quite awhile for the bathroom so there's not many and everyone just seemed to be using it at the same time. Service was friendly, nothing wrong in the sense just not extraordinary, I think the awkward layout of the room may serve as a hindrance to the servers depending on how the sections are laid out. Overall would recommend the restaurant we have been twice now in a couple weeks and the food quality has been exceptional each time.

We ate early, so there was plenty of choice to seating. This is a large establishment. Tables, booths and bar seating. Lighting is dim. Server was very pleasant and just the right amount of attentiveness. Food was tasty .

This place is amazing!! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly for me, medium, and was seasoned and juicy. You could cut it with a butter knife it was so tender. I have been here many times and all of their food has been delicious. I love their chicken parmigiana and the spaghetti sauce is homemade, so good!! Definitely recommend!!

The restaurant has a varied menu with steaks, fish, pork and chicken dishes in addition to the usual Italian fare. All of us had Italian food and enjoyed it.

This place is phenomenal. Highly recommend the filet with the peppercorn sauce. The red sauce is delicious, you could eat with a spoon. The salmon is fantastic. Everything I've had has been top notch. Wish they were open 7 days a week.
