My wife, daughter, and I stopped here for a quick lunch. The burgers were crisp and tasty, but not dry or overly greasy. Cheap prices too. Gene was super friendly. My family is scattered around the area, but we are from Connecticut. I'm sure 99% of his customers are locals, so this review is a reminder to them to pay Gene a visit for some good food, and for those passing through that are searching "food near me" to stop there for some good affordable things to eat....

I tried this restaurant out with a friend and it was awesome. Gene really knows how to cook. The hamburger sub was delicious. The onion rings were the best ever made. Gene is a very special soul. Eating with Gene was like having dinner at Grandpa's house. I would strongly recommend this place. We're running out of special places like this. I am definitely coming back.

Wonderful place to eat! You can't beat the prices and the food tastes great! I have only been here a few times, but every time has been great. Highly recommend for a low-key family dining experience.
