Kline's Restaurant

Was in town to photograph 1309 and stopped at Kline's for lunch. The parking lot was nearly full so I took that as a good sign. Ordered the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes. Food arrived very quickly; it was hot and tasted very good. Server was very friendly.

Got the chicken parmesan. The chicken was cold inside and spaghetti was barely warm. When we told the waitress she looked at me amd said she didnt know what to do. I ask her to atleast microwave it alittle. Still wasn't warm enough. Just didnt eat it

I stopped for a late lunch and ordered the baked steak special, the portions are large, wasn't sure if I could eat it all, and the prices are great also, way to knock it out of the park! Keep up the good work Gary and staff!!!!!

On vacation with husband and stopped for breakfast. Sign say wait to be seated so we waited, was not greeted. Another couple came in, guessing locals, and they were told to go ahead a have a seat. We asked about sign and was told yes needed to wait. Finally get waved over to sit. Was quickly given drinks and ordered. Didn’t order anything special and waited about 30 minutes which looked the same for all. Received a good amount of food for the price but wasn’t great. Given bill half way through meal and that also meant we were done getting coffee. Paid cash so needed change for tip and was told to ask waitress. So chased her down for her to make change. Still left 20%+ tip. Will not be back, the locals can keep it!

My husband ordered the chicken parmesean, one of the specials of the day. He said the chicken was a frozen breaded patty of chicken with sauce poured over it and topped with a little cheese and some decent spaghetti. I had the haddock fish sandwich and again it was a pre-breaded frozen fish patty, fried, between a plain bun, no lettuce or tomato or anything, to make it more appealing. The food was very mediocre at best. It didn't seem like anything was homemade. Tiny glasses for the sodas, kept having to ask for a refill. Service was good though. Wouldn't recommend the place.

I had an omelet on the morning that I visited. I was by myself and sat in what the workers called "the hallway". The waitress was friendly and checked on me several times. The food was good, hot, and fresh. When I was ready to go, the line up front to check out only took about a minute and I was treated very well. The restroom was clean and smelled nice.

Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant has a flat parking lot and the front walkway and door is a ramp without a steep incline.

Small hometown family owned business. Best cheeseburgers in town. Wings are good too! Great daily specials. I had the pork & sour kraut. Yum!

Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere. Kids are definitely welcome.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for wheelchair accessibility. Doors are wide enough. Ramp provided.

You get good food with beautiful scenery outside the windows. I found my go to place when I'm in town, and seeing my 1st bald eagle just flying above the highway ,really kinda cranked up the excitement.

Outstanding

Nice hometown restaurant, stopped in passing through for breakfast. When you enter, the bathrooms are straight in front of you, restaurant entrance door to the right, bar to the left.
Seat yourself. Staff was friendly, we were waited on quickly BUT once our food arrived we weren't checked upon until the bill came. The ham & cheese omelet was ok. The eggs over easy were hard! Bacon extra crispy was undercooked. I would have sent it back but like I said the waitress never stopped back to see how things were, nor was my coffee refilled, I was glad I also ordered a water. Hash browns or home fries do not come with any of of the breakfast items except the ultimate breakfast. So you need to order them separately. They were out of hash browns so we got the under seasoned home fried potatoes that tasted like they were re-heated several times. Most of my plate was not eaten. I did mention the hard eggs it when she brought the check, she didn't say a word but a -$3.00 reduction was taken off. Maybe it was just a bad morning for the cook.
They have daily specials on a board that's not shown on the menu.
Despite the issues I would return to support a hometown non chain establishment.
