Pepper in a Bottle / Pepper on a Plate / Sabroso Tacos

We stumbled upon this place when walking around downtown Cumberland. Mike the owner was super cool and the tacos were outstanding. And better yet, he had countless homemade hot sauces to try -- and at any desired heat level. We will definitely be coming back!

We love Pepper in a Bottle! Their hot sauce is a must on spaghetti! Best hot sauce ever. Try Pearl’s Revenge. It’s awesome as is the shop. Tasteful and tasty!

Awesome collection of hand crafted hot sauces. Made by the owner. He has mild to insanely hot. The best part is you can sample every single sauce in the shop. They also carry jams and jellies and spicy lollipops. Walked out of the place with three bottles of sauce to try and a lollipop. Will definitely come back for more.

Best hot sauces I've tried

What a wonderful little shop! Went in planning to buy one bottle I tried from a friend and wound up with three bottles! The Evil Eye sauce is absolutely amazing. My husband never eats hot sauce but couldn’t stop dipping his pizza crust in it when I brought it home tonight. The owner was very friendly and helpful and all the hot sauces are made there! So great for unique gifts. I’ll be back for more soon I’m sure!

Stopped in about a month ago with my husband as we made a quick stop to walk around downtown Cumberland on our way to eastern MD. The owner and maker of the sauces was so inviting. We tried a few sauces and took home two. We like them both but the adoring curry is amazing! We will be sure to stop in again to pick out new sauces to bring home.

Meeting Michael & Andrew was a treat and I couldn’t be happier with the products I purchased!! I got to try sauces, grabbed this tasty sweet and sassy jelly and added a few lollipops for fun!!!! Highly recommended and I’ll be returning soon!!! 🌶️🍭😁😘

this place is absolutely amazing. he makes everything himself very well mannered this man gives back to our community with branded bottles and the profit of those bottles goes to the company listed on the bottles he does not sell peppers to children without parental consent due to the intensity of the peppers .i love this place and the gentleman who owns the place is very kind i will definitely be back .. he sells everything candy , jelly , rubs . i was very pleased with my visit

from mild and sweet, to melt your esophagus liquid lava hot, this place has it all. But what's unique and unreal is that even the hottest of the hot sauces still taste good. I straight up drink the Pearl's Revenge Sauce. It warms my soul
