They do say dogs are allowed but... Dogs allowed in outside areas which also all require a reservation. So if you come with a dog you must already have a reservation. We were asked to move outside after already purchasing wines and were told that no reservations were available. So we had to leave (with purchased, open wines & glasses). No one said anything about it before or warned us about areas restricted to animals. However, the check-in kiosk WAS able to accommodate the newly arrived group of 2 girls behind us who also had no reservation.

Great ambiance, rolling hills in the distance, west-facing so expect a stunning sunset, beautiful landscaping, and lots of options for seating from indoors to covered outdoor options to picnic tables with umbrellas and Adirondack chairs, to seating around fire pits. Not the comfiest seating in the lawn area given that it’s wooden without cushions, but withstands the elements and all. Expect most if not all the outdoor seating to be reserved on busy days, but there is a nice banked hill overlooking the views, so you can bring a blanket and camp out there. Almost more enjoyable to be one with nature that way in my opinion? The indoor area is normally less crowded on nice days and has big glass windows also overlooking the views.I’m not a wine connoisseur but have done quite a few white wine tastings and definitely enjoyed the white wine I drank here - I think we honestly just purchased a bottle of the least expensive white, a Pinot Gris, and we were very happy with its flavors! Service was excellent— we talked with the bartender and even the owner for a bit.Snacks including a few varieties of charcuterie boxes are available for purchase inside, and there are typically also food trucks. All in all would definitely recommend you check this place out if you’re in the area or trying to plan a peaceful afternoon out of the city!

This place is absolutely gorgeous, the vista is breathtaking, the food is good and the wine is decent. But in my experience this is such an unfriendly place. From the staff to the people who frequent that place there’s so much unfriendliness. Go to the sugarloaf mountain vineyard, they’re quite friendly there.

Beautiful scenery, surprisingly good wine! The food trucks sometimes leave early. You can bring your own food as well.

You seven creeps posting the same complaints from your rowdy visit two days ago: Stop posting fake accusations about this company. They don't deserve it. You got a grievance, say it once, then GO AWAY. Who brings a bunch of kids to a winery. Maybe the kids weren't that badly behaved. Who knows. But judging by how badly behaved you adults are being online, it becomes more clear why you were booted out.

Went for the first time on Sunday, and will be the last time. My friends and I were repeatedly told that our kids needed to be seated with us at the picnic tables we were occupying even though they were in no way being disruptive. This is frankly an unreasonable request to require children to be seated with you. As your website states “children must be supervised.” They were! You need to be more transparent about what this means. This statement is subjective and up to interpretation. If your definition of it is requiring them to be seated at the picnic table then state that. It frankly got to a point where it felt like we were being targeted and singled out. Look forward to the canned response you’ve been giving to others.

I do not recommend this place, it was a terrible experience! Despite indicating on the website that it is a family-friendly place, we were threatened with being removed by the police because our 9 and 8-year-old children were playing with their friends next to our table. The person who seemed to be the manager insisted that the children should be seated the whole time, without getting up to play. The children were not doing anything wrong; they were not shouting or interrupting anyone's pathway at any time. This is not a family-friendly place.Dear Winery, be honest in your website and tell parent kids cannot move from tables.

I visited this winery with my friends and their families expecting a fun, family-friendly experience, but it fell short in many ways. Despite advertising as kid-friendly, the reality was quite different. Children were expected to sit quietly at tables with adults, stifling any semblance of youthful energy. They couldn't even move freely or play without being reprimanded for blocking pathways or being too loud. It felt more like a wine-sipping daycare than a welcoming environment for families. If you're looking for a place where kids can truly be kids while parents enjoy a glass of wine, this isn't it.

Today was my birthday and chose this place to spend time with friends and family as they state in their website that it is a family friendly place. However, one of their employees came to our table 3 times to tell is that basically our kids needed to be close to our table and not “rooming” around bothering other guests. The last time he approached he threatened us that if they continue playing around then they will ask us to leave. So we decided to leave on our own but how do you call your place family friendly when you don’t allow kids to be kids? They were not misbehaving and no one was complaining so I’m sorry but your employee was extremely rude and this place will be in my Never coming back again list. Don’t go if you have kids. You will be harassed and kicked out

Very BAD service ….. We had a group of 6 families with kids and the manager complained about the kids that were playing around !!! He had a bad attitude and ask us to leave or call the Cops …. He insisted that kids should be seated at the table all time and not be able to play with other kids….. incredible the bad atmosphere this person created, and all families around us were shocked (no one complained) ….. very sad !!!! Nice environment, nice music and day however this manager/host just ruin our day!!! …..Not recommended to bring your kids ….. this is NOT a family friendly environment !!!! Shame on this winery !!! Will never go back or recommend !!!

After driving for about an hour , unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience and we were kicked out after 5mins. The reason was that our well behaved 11 and 9 yr old kids were not sitting with us at our table and they were enjoying the beautiful outdoor area. They were not running or getting into areas that were not permitted. They were standing on the grass field. This winery should NOT say it accepts kids and pets are welcome. TO be clear, our kids were NOT disturbing anyone. You should say it is an adult only winery. As a family, we go to wineries often on our weekends and we have never been treating this way.Do not come if you have kids.

This has been my second time at Windridge Vineyard. The first time I went with myFamily for mother’s day, my kinds played and had lots of fun. Our second time was this weekend and our experience was totally opposite. An employee ( looked like the manager) approached our group several times asking to tell our kids that where playing besides our table, to stay seat it at the table and dot not wonder round. How can an vineyard stated in its website that is a family friendly place an ask guest to keep kids seating at a table in a open space? This is not an inclusive family place,Atay away from this vineyard if you hace kids. Really disappointing experience.

I was yelled at for trying to look at a menu. I was told they'd get me a paper menu, but they didn't ever give me one. The staff are generally harried and are not at all prepared for the crowds. This is my first and last time here. The opposite of hospitality.
