Not reopened. Place is still empty with Sheriff's notice posted outside Sep 2024.
My wife and I stopped by boat several years ago. Beautiful afternoon, sat outside at picnic table, enjoyed delicious crab cakes and soft shell crabs,I drank beer, wife had wine, for several hours I might add.The Bill was so cheap,I made the waitress go add it again, thinking it was way wrong in my favorite. Service was excellent. Fun evening. Spent the night on the boat. The only place with a better crab cake is Main St market,Tylerton Md. see if you can find Tylerton on the map.
Summer cooks as good as she looks which is Amazing... what a delightful family run place went fishing on the kingfisher 2 what a fun weekend
Stopped by while staying in Wenona and had a bite. Food was a bit greasy but good. Bar area was very loud for a Saturday afternoon to the point of being annoying. Good luck Arby.
It is not only the comings and goings of Maryland Eastern Shore watermen and the trappings of a real fishing village that make this place special, it is the food: A varied menu with excellent food at modest prices. A great place to eat if going on a fishing charter or launching your boat from the newly-refurbished public marina and boat ramp across the street. Lunch time when the crabbers and charters return is a good time to visit.
Awesome place to be! The people there were super nice and welcoming. We went for lunch and the food was very good and the service was great! We ended up going back later to celebrate New Year's Eve and we had a great night thanks to all the fun and friendly people we met! It was definitely a good experience and we plan to return to vacation here again and will most definitely visit Arby's dockside bar and grill again. (:
The food is great! A really fun place to be. Love it
We stopped in one day to pick up some bait and a few crab cake sandwiches. We were surprised that they were frozen, but once they were cooked upset were delicious. We liked them better than the Beach to Bay ones that are mostly breading.
Arby's General Store and Shedder's Restaurant are joined together with a common walk-thru. For the past year Shedder's has been called Arby's by leasing the restaurant space out. The operators of the present Arby's Restaurant & Bar will give up the lease and open a new restaurant in Princess Anne in July 2014, called "Wild Hair". Our experience at Arby's this time was a little odds. The place is kept very clean under the present operator, and the menu is still about the same with the addition of BBQ and smoked meat entrees. The Crab Bites (soft crab clusters) $8.95 were not available, so we had the Crab cakes along with freshly dropped fries. The Crab cakes were made with A LOT of tarragon that was good, but will definitely take most diners by surprise if you're expecting a typical Crab cake without the powerful taste of tarragon. OK.....but no need to rush back. No idea who will run the establishment after July 2014. Getting fresh crab product located by where the waterman come in, shouldn't be a problem.
