In case you see the special with the barria beef taco dinner treat yourself and get it you will not be disappointed omg good
I will never ever eat there again. My son and daughter-in-law asked if my husband and I would like to join them and our two grandkids there for lunch. It took nearly 2 hours for us all to get our food. Kids got theirs first (3 and 7 years old). Theirs took forever. Then my husband and I got ours. We finished eating and my son and daughter-in-law still hadn't gotten there's. We asked the waitress several times about our food. Happy Harbor Restaurant is a casual, old-timey bar & grill located in a rural setting on the water. The diner quality food is good & plentiful, with the staff being efficient and friendly. The fair prices and plenty of free parking make it a great spot to visit. Overlooking Rockhold creek, the restaurant offers a wonderful location with an authentic feel, surrounded by boats. The service is decent, and the food, such as the Crabby Tots, Ahi Tuna, and fish n chips, is highly recommended. Guests have enjoyed the best hushpuppies this side of Jacksonville, NC, and the ultimate grilled cheese, along with the peanut butter pie for dessert. While the service may be a touch slow at times, the wait staff is attentive and works well together, with Carlea, Ava, and Allyce receiving praise for their friendly service. The outdoor deck is very clean and offers a nice spot for dining, although wheelchair accessibility may be a minor challenge due to the patio being on wooden planks. Live music adds to the atmosphere but is kept at a volume suitable for conversation.
