This is more than a neighborhood bar since the food is high quality. The fish special is always perfectly prepared. It's a homey place with very good food. And, it's a nice bar as well.

Another great evening at one of my favorite watering holes. Jen and Janelle are such great hostesses and always have a welcoming smile. The cream of crab soup was absolutely spot on, very tasteful and filling. The lemon drop martinis went down well too! If you haven't given Peties a try yet, all I can say is what are you waiting for?

Weve enjoyed it through the years and the most recent owners have done a great job upgrading the place and menu is really good.

Need to weather the cold? Perhaps in need of a good martini? Look no further! We've been common here for a while and the local charm of this restaurant hasn't faded. The weekly specials, the MD soup, and the occasional sugar cookie martini treat are part of our winter monotony survival in SoCo. Service can be a little slower on busy nights but the staff is nice and attentive--cut them some slack if you go at the height of service. The food has been consistently good. They have all of your typical bar offerings and some fancier fish options that are on point.

Took 30 minutes to get menus, another 20 to order, an hour in we get our drinks and the Diet Coke tasted off. We get our one appetizer, which was the wrong one. We ordered the crab balls instead we got the crab stuffed pretzels which was good and is the only reason for giving this 2 stars instead of one. The fish and chips were terrible, fries underdone and bland and the fish was crispy but had no flavor. The slaw was also bland and overall just not a good experience.

Fish n Chips (substitute Sweet Potatoe Fries). Parmesan risotto too. Really good. If you're in the area and can't eat on the water...nice alternative.

We are local and have been coming here for years. However, in the past year or two the prices become astronomical. I understand that there's inflation, but compared to other restaurants in the area the prices are much higher for the food that you're getting. Past three times we were there we waited a long time for service. Our glasses were empty and the waitress is chatting it up with someone at the bar. Three times in a row. Look up and see your customers. Because they are looking at you.

Petie Greens is good basic food--a nice selection, including specials. Neighborhood ambience, friendly staff.

Used to enjoy this place but after tonight we probably won't go back. Got there on Friday around 5:30. Not that crowded. My husband ordered soup and we both got a drink. Waited 45 min. Never got salad or any check in. Had to go up to bar to tell them we never got any food. Waitress put our order on hold because of soup and never had our dinner put in. Left there and went to Happy Harbor. Got our drinks, salad and dinner within 20 min.

Service was terrible. Waited 15 minutes for order to be taken. Waited another 40 minutes only to have the waitress tell us our order was put on hold by her. I asked why she said cause I had ordered soup. Never came to the table to check on us. She was the bartender and waitress. She could not keep up with what was going on. Their were 4 tables when we sat down. The place filled up and we were forgotten. Sat and watched people getting their food before us and we had watched them come in. I get it you need to make a buck but my time is just as important to me. This place will never get a dime of my money.

Our first choice, JessyJay's, had a wait so we tried 4 other Deale restaurants that were either waitlist or closed. Then a local recommended Petie Greens. Was a little concerned that it was nearly empty (only 2 other diners & a few ppl at bar) but it was a pleasant surprise. The rockfish sandwich was awesome. Cream of crab soup was very good...could have had more crab but then it was only $6. Hamburger was nicely done. Would go back for the rockfish sandwich. The menu is small, which isn't a bad thing. Seating area isn't separated from the bar & there was an inebriated customer who was so loud we couldn't have conversation at our table without yelling. Fortunately they left halfway thru our meal.

Eh, the food is WAAAAAYYYYY over priced! It's ok food but really over priced. Not much of an atmosphere, the inside is like a local dive bar. Not really much impressive going on.

I had never been here before but was told it was amazing. Decided to give it a try this weekend and it was alright. Local bar atmosphere, the locals obviously know what to do, me, not so much. The cream of crab was very good. Service was a bit slow but she was working the bar and floor so I can't blame her. I got fried oysters and they were quite large and delicious. Good flavor and cooked well. Overall experience was worth it. I'd try it again. The parking lot was full as it always is there are other bars in the area that locals always frequent so I've been trying different places here lately.
