Just moved here with my family. we wanted to try them out so we showed up at 8:27pm. Knowing they close at 9pm and not being a big party (3 of us), we knew it wouldn't be an issue (my wife and I have YEARS in the restaurant industry both front and back of house). Well as we walk up the open sign gets clicked off. I walk in and ask for a table of 3 and was told the kitchen closes 30 minutes early (this was a Saturday). I just lef and we found good food elsewhere.
So, I've served, managed, bar tended and cooked and NEVER have I seen such a thing unless the restaurant was trying to cut spending. But if that is the case then post correct times or state on the website open to "X" but, last food call at "X" out of respect for your customers.

Our waitress and the entire staff was great. We went on a Sunday @ around 10:45. It was pretty crowded. Got seated within 5-7 mins. Got an omelet that came with shredded hash browns and "toast". Omelet was fine. Shredded potatoes were not good. No flavor, no crispyness and the " toast" was bread....not even hardly toasted. Scrapple on the side which wasn't much taste and not crispy even though I ordered it crispy. Don't know if I would go again.....maybe? But would probably opt for maybe pancakes or french toast!??

I stopped by this establishment to grab a bite to eat today my guest ordered a chicken parm. I asked her if she could please make sure that the bacon was extra crispy. Then to my surprise she brought out one of the best BLTs I have had in the last few years. And my friend that was with me said that it was also an amazing chicken parm the environment was wonderful and our server was Allison and she was knowledge and always there when we needed her. Thanks for a great experience !!!!!

We go here whenever we are working in the area. The service is great, the food is hot and tasty. It's a popular place, so it's not very quiet there, unless you go outside lunch and dinner hours.

Food was okay. Just ordered clam straps and soups. Service was rushed and server/bartender was overwhelmed with dinning room and bar. Maybe they just need to hire more people but we weren't ready to leave and rushed out the door. Third time here and we most likely won't return.

The Chesapeake Chicken and the Ranch Chicken entrees are absolutely delicious. Our server Kim was TOPNOTCH!! She was very outgoing, personable and attentive. We had a great dining experience here and highly recommend Denton Diner.
