Lovely place, lovely staff. Unfortunate last visit, though. Foreigners, beware: this establishment sells alcoholic beverages reserved only for holders of US issued drivers licenses. They wouldn’t accept my passport as a form of ID. The staff agreed that I didn’t look underage but their training does not accommodate foreigners. Although this was not my first time visiting this lovely location it was definitely not a good experience. Even though we presented my wife’s drivers license by the state of MD and paid for the drink and a tip, we did not feel comfortable having me consume my cider after remarking twice that the drink had to be for her and not for me. I tried to talk to the manager to make sure we wouldn’t affect any party but the chef, who I understand was the person in charge, wouldn’t come out to try and help us. This left us feeling uneasy and decided to return it untouched without asking for a refund as this wasn’t a failure on the staff’s side. Honestly, I felt discriminated against, but I understand that this shortcoming was mainly due to a gap in your training. Hope you can complement your training with IDing passports in the near future.

I have been trying a new menu item every time I visit. I’m stuck on the Mushroom melt! Everything I’ve tried so far is delicious, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. If you haven’t tried Earth Tones yet; you’re missing out!

The staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The coffee I ordered was delicious, expertly crafted and full of rich flavor. This place has all the potential to become a destination of its own, especially if the hours are convenient for more visitors. Truly a wonderful find that I’ll be returning to!

Earth Tones has some of the most sublime food I have ever eaten. The best part is it is super fresh and healthy so I never feel guilty for indulging.
They also have the best coffee in Maryland IMHO. I also love their matcha lattes and lemonade. It is truly one of Denton’s hidden gems. 💎
