I really want to be kind to this little spot. It's a very cute little building with a culinary school and restaurant. My sister and I came for lunch and she ordered the Cali wrap and said she enjoyed it. I was interested in fish, and I saw a few of the sandwich options could be made with blue catfish cakes. I considered the banh mi but decided against it because this place is certainly not Vietnamese, and I wasn't sure about their take on the classic sandwich. I asked the cashier about the catfish cakes and she recommended them, but suggested the banh mi instead of the panini that I had been thinking. Against my better judgement, I ordered the banh mi on her recommendation.
The bread was thick and cold and soft--tasty, but very wrong for a banh mi. Each of the elements of the sandwich seemed to have been made with care, but when put together they did not work. It lacked the taste, texture, and temperature of a good banh mi. The homemade chips were also oversalted and over cooked--very crispy though! Again, I think this has the makings to be a really solid spot, but I'd probably skip the banh mi and go with something more traditionally American.
The workers were friendly and the atmosphere is very cute. The food is also relatively inexpensive.

Driving thru town we found a nice surprise: fresh food, friendly smiles, well prepared sandwiches and wraps with delicious homemade thick potato chips. Yum! Grabbed some gourmet food products on display and left very happy. Thanks!

Almost missed it, located in the old Caroline High School building. But the vibe was really friendly, and the food was great. I had a really good Southwest salad and a Shore Gourmet root beer, the sweetie had a Franklin Bacon and cheese hot sandwich, and we split a helping of fresh watermelon. So good, and such a nice find!

And the tables were not wobbly. Honestly, that alone is worth a whole star for a small joint in my book. 😂

I have passed by many times and finally one day decided to go inside. I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a neat little cafe. The food was delicious! I got a grilled cheese panini and tomato soup. Top quality.

Hidden gem. We had a southwest salad, Brisket Flatbread, & California club. All were delicious but the Tortilla chips in the salad were overpowingly salty. Menu has alot of choices, something for everyone

This small hidden gem seems confusing at first when you get into the building, it is a school after all. Once I found my way to the correct room I was able to place my order with ease. The food is farm fresh and boy let me tell you about the dessert options. Way to many to choose from. I highly recommend you check them out. You can eat there or take it with you to go. Don't miss out on this one!!

On Monday I ordered a dinner I intended for Wednesday the 8th despite it only being served on the 15th. However the website still let me place the order for the 8th and was giving me instructions for picking up the order for today despite it not being ready. When I got there and showed the staff the website they said it was the way the site was and aid that I the order was for the 15th, they went on to offere me todays dinner menu with an upcharge. I was done with the whole situation and went to cancel the order, but they were kind enough to refund me. I should not have been able to make the order if it it was intended for a different week, and the staff member there just said it was the way the system was brushing off how stupid the system was and firmly not appologising.
