I was so excited to try this place. I love the concept of a cafe attached to a culinary school. What a shocking disappointment this turned out to be. The quiche consisted of a hollowed out roll (that was so tough you could not cut it with a knife) with scrambled eggs and flaccid bacon inside and a piece of some hard-as-nails cheese on top. If this is what they are teaching in the school I despair for our culinary future. Learning to make a pie dough and a custard should be introductory lessons...if this wasn't so pathetic it would be laughable...

Not too sure about Dinner. Very very concerned that the people taking orders don't pay attention every time I leave I'm missing something that I've paid for so if you order for here pay attention, make sure that if your meal comes with chips that you have your chips make sure that you get what's on the menu sometimes you may be ordering something on the menu and they have switched it up or changed it and they'll give you the new version of it and it will taste different than the one that you had and then they'll say they don't make that anymore like that so just be mindful of that, very cozy warm environment if you decide to sit in and eat

On Monday I ordered a dinner I intended for Wednesday the 8th despite it only being served on the 15th. However the website still let me place the order for the 8th and was giving me instructions for picking up the order for today despite it not being ready. When I got there and showed the staff the website they said it was the way the site was and aid that I the order was for the 15th, they went on to offere me todays dinner menu with an upcharge. I was done with the whole situation and went to cancel the order, but they were kind enough to refund me. I should not have been able to make the order if it it was intended for a different week, and the staff member there just said it was the way the system was brushing off how stupid the system was and firmly not appologising.

This eatery is part of a local culinary school. It is located in a re-purposed school building. The renovation is lovely! (I attended school there some 60 yrs ago.) The food was delicious. My family and I were able to enjoy a table outside.

I had the Cali Club, and my girlfriend had the portobello banh mi on gluten free bread. Both very yummy and they came with delicious potato chips that I suspect are made on site. I forgot to ask ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread available

I happened to be in Denton and searched for restaurants. Shore Gourmet looked interesting. It’s in the old High School building, along with a cooking school. I had the caprese panini, with portobello mushrooms. Absolutely perfect! Tomatoes were fresh and sweet. The cheese was slices of a mozzarella ball. Bread was great. The whole thing was tasty and juicy.

We stopped on our way home from the Delaware beaches and what a great choice! The staff were very nice and the sandwiches were large. The fresh side salad was clearly sourced with fresh vegetables. There are a few tables in the store itself and apparently a larger seating area upstairs. Also nice to support something that is helping the community.
