I periodically stop at the Starbucks in Denton, Maryland, on my way to or from the beach. It’s newish and still very clean. As I was waiting in line to order yesterday, I was surprised to learn customers needed a code to access the bathrooms. The team members kept shouting the door code to customers in need while trying to take orders from other customers. Why make the bathroom seem like your prized possession and kept under lock and key?
Worse, when ordering my coffee I asked to leave room for cream but was met with, “we do the cream back here how much do you need?”. A quick swivel and I realized there is no longer cream, sugar, cinnamon out for customers to access. I quickly make up a quantity of cream…2 Tablespoons.
A few minutes later, my coffee is served. No cream. I ask the very busy barista for cream and obviously she’s annoyed by my request. No doubt, and understandably, my inconvenience is now her inconvenience. She offers me oat milk which isn’t cream. Then she brings me a little plastic cup filled to the brim with cream. I toss half of what she brings.
What the hell is happening in Denton that you can’t use the facilities or fix your coffee without intervention? Is keeping carafes with dairy/non-dairy and sugar simply too much to manage? Is there a need to announce to the entire restaurant you need to pee a thing now?

This place cut off the coffee machines off at 1930 and the store closed at 2000. Horrible service

Dirty dirty dirty. And rude rude rude.
Absolutely the worst service I have received in a Starbucks in 20 years.
Also since they are complete jerks about it the bathroom code is 55533

The BEST Starbucks; in my opinion. The staff always has great energy and my orders have never been wrong. Management definitely knows what they’re doing!

They had an infestation of bugs crawling all throughout the food in the closed door pastry case. The young staff (I counted 6) was unphased, combative, and defensive …. I guess sanitation and professionalism don’t matter here. Visitor beware.

This place is a joke. None of the staff acknowledges you when you’re inside the store. Always a wait even if there’s no line inside or in the drive thru. Like Starbucks but the staff at this location is horrible. Clean house

Dont seem very friendly at all people look at you like you have no reason being in the store that is a weird feeling to get coming into a business and getting that feeling from managment and employees is super weird.

Fast service here, lines move quick. Brand new building in front of Goodwill in Denton. And right on Route 404 headed to the beach.

I love local and it’s nice having the luxury of having a Starbucks here in town but it is the biggest waste of time. You have to wait in line for 15 minutes even for a mobile order, they are so under staffed and nothing is quick about it. At the drive thru they shut you down and say look at menu be right back and leave you sitting. I put mobile order in and I don’t need menu but can’t pull up cause they won’t let you even get a word in when you pull up. As costly as it is you would think they would be hiring people. If you have time to kill I would say this is the place for you but if you’re in a hurry or need to get to work on time this is not the spot for you.

Wait in line at drive through, order, wait. Then cashier says not enough money in the drawer for an American $50 dollar bill. No wonder some businesses are struggling!
Wow, what a busy, busy place. 1 car in the drive through and me at the counter. So very busy that of the 7 people behind the counter and manager doing paperwork on the side couldn't acknowledge my presence and let me know they would take my order shortly. After 5 minutes I decided to use their rest room, which for the first time ever was presentable. Did not stay to order, they were clearly to busy to talk a customer.
