We went for an early dinner. Delicious and very fresh food. (Hubby said calamari was a bit tough). The service and atmosphere were wonderful!

The sauce is horrible. It is flat with no depth or dynamic. After a few bites you will get entirely bored so the buffet isn't worth it. The sauce is full of powder and dry seasoning which just ends up tasting salty and feeling super powdery. There is no sweetness or citrus taste. There is no sourness. There is absolutely no spice level. I can tell they use bottled hot sauce and no fresh habeneros or hot peppers. Nothing is fresh- They either use powdered garlic or Jarlic. The seafood is all frozen and not fresh. You can tell especially with the crawfish as it is dry and shriveled up. Overall, not tasty at all. I am surprised how badly they can mess the sauce up. It would help them to try some youtube recipes or real boil to reference. They threw a bunch of dry seasonings in a bag and called it seafood boil. Makes sense that no one was really there for Sunday dinner in the summer.
Service was very friendly and the people were nice. They would just be much more successful if they didn’t cheat on their sauce. Using fresh ingredients will go a long way.

we came and the food wasn’t fresh and their were eggs all over the crabs. the crabs were empty and there was hair on our corn. as well as the shrimp being overcooked. when we discussed it with the waiter, they gaslight us and told us that it was normal. server continued to argue with us instead of apologizing. our originally total was $212 and they only took off $15. the manager didn’t apologize to us at all. i would not recommend coming here.

Update: 6.30.25
TLDR: Still one of the best all-you-can-eat seafood boils in the area. Lobster tail added to the menu is a win, RIP to the free Dungeness crab.
Feasty Crab in Derwood is still a solid choice! I first reviewed this place when they opened a few years back and was really impressed with the seafood quality, selection, and the value. I recently came back with a group of 10 for a Saturday lunch, and we all left happy.
Some things have changed since the early days, most notably they no longer include Dungeness crab in the all-you-can-eat deal (you now have to order it a la carte), which was a bit of a letdown. On a positive note, they now include one lobster tail per person with the AYCE, and honestly, it was the best bite of the meal. Sweet, tender, and perfectly cooked.
The rest of the menu is pretty much the same, which was great to see. We made our way through several rounds of shrimp, mussels, crawfish, and snow crab, all well seasoned. Service was also a win, as they were attentive and efficient, even with our big group.
At $60 a person, it’s still a solid deal. If you’re craving a boil and have an appetite, Feasty Crab remains one of the top AYCE seafood spots around.
Original Review:
TLDR: All you can eat snow crabs, dungeness, blue crab, clam, mussel, shrimp and sides at $50 per person is the best deal in town. Seafood was well prepared and came out quickly!
. Located in the back corner of a strip mall in Derwood, Feasty crab is easily accessible for any DMV seafood lover. There is ample lot parking and the restaurant has a large presence amongst the other storefronts so it cannot be missed. Inside, Feasty has a sea of 4 top tables as well as large 10+ person banquet tables perfect for large groups. The restaurant looks to have been recently renovated and was very clean. Overall, a no nonsense layout that is very conducive to feasting!
. We dined in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 10 and the Feasty wait staff was more than accommodating. The service was punctual and pleasant throughout the entire meal. Typically these AUCE places try and slow down service in order for you to order less, however Feasty constantly had a steady stream of food coming to our table. They do advertise a 90 minute limit for dining, however during our visit they allowed us to go over that. An 18% automatic gratuity was added to our bill, but we felt this was more than earned and would happily tip more.
. The AUCE menu is pretty much encompasses all of their regular menu and tasted great! The snow and dungeness crabs were the stars of the show, coming out well seasoned and steamed perfectly every order. The shrimp, crawfish, mussels and clams were also very tasty and came out hot and fresh. For the side items, the fried scallops and sausage were a welcomed palate break from the steamed seafood onslaught. Feasty also serves both ramen noodles and steamed white rice as side items with the AUCE menu which was a major plus (diy crab rice or noodles anyone?). At $50 per person, it is very easy to eat your money's worth at Feasty. On our visit, we went through 8-10+ orders of snow crabs and dungeness by themselves which would have covered most of our $50 (not including the 20 orders of the other various seafood). If you are a fan of seafood boils, I highly recommend giving Feasty a shot!

It started out ok I ordered All-you- can-eat for 2 they give you one plate to share the snow crab legs were small not easy to pick and never got some of the items such as fried oysters and clams towards the end the meals got very salty as and throughout the stay the servers was no where to be found so it kinda throw of your eating making hard to enjoy and they add your tip of 18% for poor service first and last time dinning Feasty crabs not recommended for great service or it your not a true SALT EATER
A little pricey but amazing food and service!

A friend and I went here because it had good reviews. The waitress wasn’t very attentive and there were hardly any people there. I only got a fork to eat my fried Flounder and I needed a knife. By the time I went ahead and ate because by the time she came back was too late to get me a knife. My friend got crabcakes and they were terrible. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Update: went back again. Verdict stands!
Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!!! 50 bucks all you can eat seafood. The seasoning they use in the boil is fantastic. We had nonstop snow and blue crab, black and green mussels, taters, shrimp, and sausage. Good portions, quite, clean, effective decore. We drove an hour to this place and will continue to do so.
Waitress never let me run out of water. And our food never stayed long in our force to take a photo

Fantastic meal. We loved the snow crab with garlic butter sauce and the medium spicy crawfish. The potato and corn included were great. FANTASTIC FRENCH FRIES!
I won’t order the crab cake and clam chowder again as it wasn’t as great as above.
The restaurant is nice inside and clean bathrooms. Our waitress was super nice. We saw her deal with a difficult patron who wasn’t happy with prices and left before ordering.
I absolutely plan to return hungry and do the all you can eat! 1 lb of snow crab didn’t make it far with my kids haha!

I just ordered crabs from here. A dozen medium male crabs for about $75. They were the worst. They were dry and over cooked. Its like they had them in the freezer and then warmed them back up. The worst $75 spent on crabs. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY IF YOU ARE NOT PICKING UP YOUR CRABS IN PERSON. AWFUL!!
