Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I recently visited a Rita's location that was an utter disappointment and, frankly, a disservice to the brand’s reputation. From start to finish, my experience was frustrating and unpleasant, and it’s clear that this location falls far short of the standards I’ve come to expect from Rita's.

First and foremost, the staff here were astonishingly unprofessional. When I arrived at the window to place my order, they exhibited a shocking lack of courtesy and efficiency. Their attitude was dismissive, and they seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than providing decent service. It was apparent that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.

To make matters worse, I was subjected to an incredibly rude and uncalled-for comment about my attire. I was wearing pajamas, which I admit might not be the most conventional choice for an outing, but it was hardly anyone’s business. Instead of focusing on my order, one of the employees felt it was appropriate to mock my outfit, which was both unprofessional and deeply disrespectful. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and does nothing but degrade the customer experience.

Overall, this Rita's location is a far cry from the quality and service I associate with the brand. The combination of poor service, a lack of professionalism, and unnecessary insults made for a thoroughly disappointing visit. I won’t be returning to this location and strongly recommend others to seek out a different Rita's if they want to avoid a similarly disheartening experience.

It’s good but ridiculously expensive for a chain. I paid almost $10 for a concrete the size of a McDonald’s flurry (i.e. it’s SMALL). It was great, but never making the mistake of coming here again.

Literally the worst ice cream place I’ve been to. I ordered a concrete malt and was literally served ice cream soup. This is how my malt looked right when my husband brought it to us.

Horrible customer service gentleman stepped in acted like he was helping only to try to make us pay more money first time there and last thanks to him and didn’t speak I had to say hello twice to him and the young lady she spoke after I said hello twice he didn’t !

Don’t waste your time- this place has gone absolutely down hill; it’s so expensive and the serving size is tiny. What a rip off. See the pictures. These 2 ice creams cost $19.
Waffle bowl was stale. 1st photo is supposed to be a small, second a large- they look the same. Ridiculous. Owner is also very rude.

This place is really pricey! I got a small Italian ice with gummy bears and it was almost $6. They charged $1.49 extra for a tiny amount of gummy bears.

Lines are always short! It has a nice little picnic area.

Horrible customer service…guy wasn’t willing to work with me after I made a mistake with my order…second time…won’t be back. Confusing menu…too much going on in there.

I liked the ice cream, but I was so disappointed in customer service. The gentleman working there was so rude, unpleasant, and without patience . Going to an ice cream place, you expect to meet a happy and pleasant person to receive you..Those are my thoughts

I ordered the Mango Ice and I love it

I've frequented this Rita's several times. For the most part, I've had a positive experience. However, this most recent time (8/6/23, around 3:30pm), I ordered a mango misto and found a disgusting, moldy green object in my beverage. I don't know if it's something that was growing on the misto maker, or it came from somewhere else, but I've ordered and consumed enough mistos to know this is not normal. Crazy how one poor experience can overwrite a handful of positive experiences, but I will no longer be going to this Rita's.

Too expensive for what it is…not coming back.

Frozen custard is delicious.

Came on the late night, just before closing. Great Service
