This restaurant is a favorite for my wife and I to dine. It is an Armenian Mediterranean restaurant. The hummus is creamy and delectable. The kebab platters are savory and well prepared. Highly recommend Sasuns Cafe. You will not be disappointed.

I've passed by Sasuns so many times and decided to give it a shot. There's lots of parking in the back which I didn't know until I pulled up. There's lots of seating source inside as well which I wasn't expecting. The service was fast and attentive by the two gentleman working there. The gyro was delicious but I would've liked it to be packed more. It was good for an almost meal but with something else it should be sufficient. The vegetarian options were plentiful and would say this a good place to eat at of you're vegetarian. The one item I didn't care for on the veggie sample tasted like roasted mashed up peanuts. Great place to eat at and you won't be disappointed.

So, we have ordered a ton from here and have always been pleasantly surprised by the quality, but the past 3 orders have been off, seems like a different owner or cost cutting, but this time literally getting a pizza with no cheese (just a ton of garlic) just decided, I will stop ordering from here.

My father catered for me from this restaurant for my housewarming. And this food was DELICIOUS!!! From the rice to the chicken, especially! It was so well packaged as well. My family & friends love all of it, I could tell from there not being any leftovers!Thank you so much! Will definitely be catering from you all again!
Been here twice now and had gyro, chicken schwarma and hummus. Hummus had more tahini and tasted richer/creamier than other places. I make my own hummus and it seems he makes it fresh every morning. The pita is a very thin type unlike thicker Greek/kontos style ones.Older place that reminds me of the grill/restaurant my parents owned when I was young. Owner was proud of showing me his pizza making once I mentioned I was a co owner of a pizza chain in Texas. I'll have to come back and try that since he makes his dough fresh unlike la pizza and some other nearby pizza places that use pre-frozen crusts (yuck).For Parking you meander around back. Plenty of parking. The driveway entry is rather steep so don't bottom out...
Thursday's is $5 Gyro your welcome ... outdoor seating has a great view tucked away in derwood... I look forward to more complex dishes there ... I added fries and a drink little over $10 well worth you're visit and time...

I discovered this place recently. So far I've had a cheesesteak and a gyro. Both of them were excellent. They have a Tuesday special for a $5 chicken shawarma and a Thursday special for a $6 gyro.
