If you're on the hunt for an authentic, no-frills bar that oozes character, this place is a must-visit. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, this old-school watering hole has a rich history that seeps through its walls. From the faded photos to the worn wood, you can almost feel the stories of the years gone by. The drinks? Perfectly priced. In a world where bar tabs can spiral out of control, this spot keeps things refreshingly affordable without skimping on quality. Whether you're grabbing a beer with friends or enjoying a well-mixed cocktail, your wallet will thank you, and so will your taste buds. The atmosphere here is what truly sets it apart. It's the kind of place where the regulars make you feel like part of the crew, and the vibe is always laid-back and welcoming. There's a warmth to it, almost as if it’s a living room for everyone in town. The friendly bartenders are always up for a chat, and the crowd is more about good times than pretension. Now, I’d be lying if I didn’t say the lack of a jukebox is a bit of a bummer. You know, a little music can elevate any night out, and it's one thing I wish this spot had. But hey, no place is perfect, right? Overall, this bar might not have all the bells and whistles, but what it does have is heart, history, and a level of comfort that’s hard to find. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to return, again and again. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want to experience the soul of the neighborhood.l
I didn't eat, so I have no opinion on the food. Basically, it's just your average "run-of-the mill", neighborhood/local bar.

The older lady I think her name is Bonnie is very lazy and has no respect for anyone. She always has an attitude. The last time I went in there someone left money on one of the machines and I didn't pay attention that there ones a couple $$ left in it and I almost got jumped because a person walked away and was shooting pool. Come to find out they pay you on those machines

They do have a pool table and a few gambling machines that can be worth playing sometimes if you aim for the high scores. Ms Bon is the bartender and she's super nice and strick against dummies from making bad decisions. Overall the place isn't really a place to travel to for it's atmosphere it's mainly a nice little neighborhood bar hidden back in the houses that is convenient for carryout and to sit have a few beers with a friend maybe play a game of pool and that's it. Basically it's cheap and quaint for our locals here in old Dundalk.

My feelings on this tavern are very mixed. We live directly across the street and the staff at the tavern is by all means extremely pleasant. However, constantly throughout the week we are asking attending customers on motorcycles to please not excessively rev their engines due to sleeping children. They have not a single care in the world and continue to PURPOSELY do it anyway. ALL. THE. TIME. I wish that someone at this bar would take the responsibility of telling their clientele to be somewhat decent human beings.
Dive bar but regulars are cool. Been there for a long time

I used to go there about 10 years ago. When I lived with my brother-in-law down the street. It's a very nice local bar friendly people! I went one time on a Sunday to catch a Ravens game and had a good time. It changed a lot since then but it's on my mind now I'm packing my stuff and going over there today! Plan on having a great time again! Thanks dunbar!
Unfortunately new owner but we'll be ok. Miss ya sugar
Been the go to in St Helena for years. ?
First time there. Nice people. Drinks are reasonable. Needs a well lit sign showing name of business outdoors, especially if it is dark outside so customers can see the place.
