I have been going here since I was a little boy. I used to get doughnuts here with my grandmother all the time when she lived on Wynbrook road. Before tonight the last time I was there was in 2013 and all these years later it is still amazing. I got one of their chocolate sprinkled doughnuts while I was there and it was delicious.

Herman’s Bakery has been a family favorite for generations! We absolutely love their pound cake and strawberry shortcake—all of their baked goods are always fresh and delicious. My mom has been a loyal customer since she was young, and even had her wedding cake made here. It’s amazing to see the tradition continue with such incredible quality and service. There’s not that many family owed bakeries around anymore, this one is highly recommend!

We ordered 2 chocolate cream pies for Thanksgiving, they were delicious, beautifully made, and were a big hit!! Being a Dundalk native, getting something sweet from Herman's is a tradition at the holidays, and our family always enjoys the wonderful treats!! 5 stars from our crew!!!

Almost every time I come here, I've had a negative experience. The baked goods I managed to have gotten were okay. Nothing to really be excited for. Half the time their goods aren't even fresh. First time I came, I called at 9am, told them I needed a cake made by 4pm. It was a simple 2 layer small cake with a printed picture on top. They said they should have it done before then because it was easy. When I get there at 4, they hadn't even started it! They completely forgot! The second time, I asked if they could make me some pink sprinkle frosted donuts, they did just that and it was perfect. Third time, I asked for the same thing, the girl at the counter just looks at me like I'm dumb and says they can't make them. Later on that day, I went back because of a different shift, I talked to the lady who manages the place and she said it was absurd that the girl said they can't make them, because they're the easiest. The fourth time, I saw on their website that they have Tiramisu slices, I had my husband go there and get it, they said they haven't even had those in awhile. Long story short, fix your customer service, it's terrible, and update your website.

Had a dream about cherry topped pastries, stopped in here to pick some up. Staff friendly and courteous, Herman's is probably the last of the great bakery's left in Baltimore.

Bought 2 strawberry short cakes yesterday and I asked if they were fresh and was told the cakes were fresh. Got them home and the cake was dry and it crumbled. I was wondering why there wasn't any customers in the store
I wish I could give zero stars.
Waste of money. I came from a far distance to buy the cakes.

I ordered a heart shaped strawberry shortcake for my daughter’s golden birthday, 27 years old on the 27th of this month. They made it so beautiful with gold trimmings and gold sprinkles on top of white icing. All the guests loved the way it was decorated, simple yet elegant and it tastes superb. Customer service is always nice and friendly and the prices are so reasonable. Their ready to take out baked goods are first class. Herman’s bakery is my favorite bake shop, I highly recommend them, you won’t get disappointed.

I adore the staff at Herman's! They go above and beyond every visit! Many times i've needed custom cakes in a pinch and they always get the job done when other places would laugh in my face! I never leave without some chocolate covered strawberries or strawberry short cake, they just look too good!

I only hit a star at all to comment my sons birthday is today and yall butchered it don’t look like what I wanted at all I spent $70 something dollars on this when I could’ve just went to Walmart or food lion and paid $40. I’m not happy with this at all and think others should know. First photo is what I wanted the 2nd photo is what I got

It’s been a couple of years since I brought anything from here, it’s really on the other side of town for me. My daughter’s birthday was in three days and I need a cake bad but didn’t have the time to order in person. The young lady I talked to was extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to order the cake over the phone, payment was taken over the phone and she allowed me to text her a picture of what I wanted. I am so grateful!!!! The cake was beautiful, tasted great and my daughter loved it!!! Thanks again, will be ordering soon.
