Pop's Tavern is ROUGH. It's the type bar, where I check my self defenses. Once you enter though: the scene you had in mind about being involved in a brawl, dissipate. Pop's has a chill bar, mostly easy folks and cheap booze in a wide room. That said. Don't roll up in Lacoste with a Rolls Royce. It's the true nature of Pop's in that it reflects the E. Coast Maryland, blue collar groove. Keep pouring. Next door is a low-price liquor store, that has at least as much - if not more for reasonable prices. Hard whiskey. Beers. Belgian beers. Liquor. Never any Southern Comfort. Come on management, I should not have to go somewhere else to drink. Wanted to stick around and sing.

Dive country bar in SE Baltimore county. Has the oldest license to serve drinks in the county. Crowd can seem a bit rough around the edges, but are generally nice. Typical run of the mill drinks, nothing spectacular. Food is descent but nothing to write home about.
