This place is a local fixture with a unique atmosphere and history. The food is good and very reasonably priced. Their custom sodas and floats are a throwback to old times when soda / carbonated drinks were first available. It’s fitting that it’s part of the drug store given sodas were considered medicinal before becoming a popular all the time drink. Be sure to try out the potato chips as well. They have a wide selection of flavors. If you happen to be traveling through or visiting Dundalk this is a great place to visit and grab a bite.

One of the best Rubens I’ve ever had. Everyone in my party loved their food and drinks. Service was great too!!

Hidden gem in Dundalk.
Service was top notch with an amazing ambiance. It's like taking a step back in time, walking into a speakeasy (just ask about upstairs).
The egg cream soda is like a delicious carbonated yoohoo and their crab pretzel was bomb!
Loved our waitress and she even brought us a complimentary soda to try.
Don't worry if you cant find it at first.. keep walking through the liquor store and you'll find it!
Highly recommend!

I’ve been to the Fountain twice in the last 6 weeks. Their food, whiskey, soda, prices, SERVICE, and selection are so good. Love this place in every way.

So delicious! Def a hidden gem. Was inside the DrugCity to the left. Food was delicious, I got the Thursday Special, the lobster roll. I also tried the Cranberry Lime drink which was amazing. They mix the sodas there old style !! So cool. So many different flavors of chips, I believe the owner said 44 flavors? And you can mix and match! I tried the Ketchup and Dill which was phenomenal. Overall great experience.

The Fountain at Drug City in New Baltimore is an absolute treasure for anyone passionate about great spirits. What truly sets this spot apart is the unbeatable value they offer on their pours. The selection is staggering, with an array of bottles that range from rare finds to timeless classics—and all at prices that make exploring the menu an absolute joy. It’s a rare chance to try some truly elusive bottles without breaking the bank.

The bartenders and servers are exceptional. Not only are they warm and welcoming, but their knowledge of the spirits they serve is remarkable. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or a curious beginner, they’re always ready to recommend something special, share stories about the bottles, or guide you through a tasting.

For those of us who dream of sampling whiskies or spirits we may never otherwise get our hands on, The Fountain is a dream come true. This isn’t just a bar—it’s an experience, and one that I can’t recommend enough. Whether you’re looking for a casual drink or a deep dive into something rare and wonderful, The Fountain at Drug City delivers in every way.

I wish I had an establishment like this near me in Virginia. I love the business model where there is something for all ages. The pretzels with the old bay dip were great. Reminded me of my youth and having steamed crabs with my family. I really love that you can get a pour of highly allocated pours at a fair price. I had a pour of Double Eagle Rare which I probably never would have gotten a chance to taste. For reference, there’s a local bar near me that charges $700 for a pour of Double Eagle Rare. The manager Chuck was a great host and engaging with the customers. He made me a customized strawberry Oreo shake for the road. Again I wish I lived closer to give more of my business to this store. I will definitely be back for the conversations, food, and pours!

Amazing hidden gem. Atmosphere was cool and had a huge variety of drinks and old fashioned soda options. The sandwiches were delicious and service was quick without feeling rushed. The employees were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to try more. Make sure you check the secret menus on the QR codes for even more options.

This place is so cute!!! The food was great, and the hand spun soda bar is so fun! The atmosphere is very retro, from the lights to the tile, to the music-- it's like you're stepping back in time! The service was excellent! Very friendly and prompt. Would definitely go back!
