Great place for good food at a decent price. The inside does have tables, but only 6 and and the very cafe feel. Nothing like a regular restaurant. The food however, very fast, a lot of it and was very good. We had large shrimp and broccoli with white rice, and small sweat sour chicken with white rice. Can and bottle drinks. Total was $30.

I’ve been getting takeout for many years at East Café was had always been very pleased with their food and service. On Saturday evening I ordered food and became ill afterwards. I have a sensitivity to MSG. Please be aware after I called the restaurant. They are using MSG in their food preparation. Previously they did not use MSG in their food except for soup. I suspected that it was in my meal it was confirmed by a phone call. They are using it in all of their food. They said you can request it not be put in their food. This is a change from previous years.

Very disappointed,been ordering takeout from East Cafe for a number of years . Egg foo young was a staple. The sauce (gravy) is now completely tasteless and water thin. Spicy beef or should I say vegetables .time to find a new restaurant.
Easily on par with, if not slightly better food than Chinese restaurants in the area. My expectations were low considering I don’t have a favorable opinion of the Chinese food around me in general. Food came out in a reasonable time. I’m not expecting full on conversation from the person taking orders, but the lady upfront that day gave off the energy that she had better things to do than take my order. I’d give it 3.5, but the food is slightly better than most Chinese food I’ve experienced, so I’ll round up to 4.

I think there food is going down hill. Used to be good there. Egg rolls are always burnt the wonton soup noodles are so soggie and the shrimp fries rice has hardly any shrimp and it's more steamed instead of fried. I'm done wasting my money.

I looove the crispy shrimp with walnuts it’s like the Panda Express honey walnut shrimp but 100% better. They are always super nice and food is always good. I just wish they delivered but that’s my only complaint!

My food was ok. The lemon chicken is ok. Egg rolls are super greasy - roll them in a napkin or paper towel to absorb the grease before trying to eat them. That said - the service is comical. In the kitchen door - lots of yelling in the back - out the kitchen door …. over and over. While I waited (extra time) for the order I called in, that kitchen door had the two women running in and out - had to be 50 times. I get it - doing their jobs but when the main woman was out of the kitchen and back out front working the front, her back was towards everyone 95% of the time - totally flustered. It was almost sit-com-ish. The place is dingy and dirty looking which you notice while waiting the extra time for your called in order. Anyway - they clearly need more staff - at minimum someone who stays in the front of the house. Just seems very unorganized and unprofessional. Oh, and “cash is preferred due to slow WiFi” OK 😉😂

Overpriced garbage wasn't fit to eat, got up from the table and dumped it in the trash ! Whole place is dingy and dirty... bathroom was disgusting, I will never go back
