I think that this is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at unfortunately. When we went in, we were brought standard chips with salsa and white sauce. The salsa was weird: it had the texture of ketchup and tasted like vinegar. The white sauce was actually inedible: it tasted like buttermilk. There was also a ice cube in it (?) not sure what that was about. We got the queso and also garlic bread with mozzarella. The queso was fine! The garlic bread was also inedible: it was covered in way too much greasy mozzarella cheese and also just had an odd aftertaste and bizzare texture. We got a seafood dish: totally inedible. Filled with clam shells with no clams in them as well. There was almost no food in the dish and it was 24 dollars as well which wouldn’t really have been an issue if it was good but no. The seafood I will say did not seem like it was bad, it seemed fresh, but the sauce it was in was unfortunately disgusting. I will say our server was an absolute angel and so sweet and nice. We did not try to get it comped or anything so I’m not sure how that would have gone. I feel bad leaving a bad review but it was just so bad! But our waitress was awesome.

Local authentic Mexican cuisine. Excellent service, servers are patient with mispronunciations and the food was great, remarkably affordable.

Service was awesome and the food was great. Interestingly had the restaurant to myself on a tuesday evening around 8pm? Wondering why this place isnt busier, no matter, the Al Pastor tacos and the margarita were made fine, and the chips and salsa were great.

The food was good, wait staff nice a friendly. We came with a large group so our food took a bit to come out, not sure they are used to ground of 18 people.
The one thing I didn’t love was that the carpets were sticky. It kinda made my skin crawl. I don’t love leaving bad reviews but I def think the carpets need to be getting steamed regularly

The pizza has no flavor, the crust is good but very little sauce and the cheese has absolutely no flavor at all. Tasted like a bad pizza from a box. I asked for 2 different soda options, they were out of both . Not busy for a Fri night.

We had been a long time patron of Plaza Jalisco ( Tapatia) until we had a very bad experience and we began to look for a better go to restaurant with Latin flavors. We like Eldorado and La Bodega and tried Genesis tonight (for the first time since it went on to Ocean Gateway. Diana remembered me, my kids, and all from Plaza days, with detail, even though I hadn't seen her in years. She was a excited and hospitable as ever. The Atmosphere was top notch, the Margaritas were perfect and not artificial. The salso was freshly made, and the food was absolutely head and shoulders above the other Latin restaurants and other restaurants in general. Generous portions and very fresh and authentically flavored, as the dishes are supposed to taste (not the Americanized versions). The corn tortillas, while not hand made, were true to flavor as I had had in Guatemala.
We have found our new home and can't wait to try their other Easton location.

My husband and I wanted to try the Genesis pizza on route 50 because our friends said nothing but great things about this place.
We decided we would try take out first.
Once going in to pick up the food, the staff are so friendly and the inside is clean and nicely decorated. In addition, the food my husband and I got was DELICIOUS!! It was fresh and worth every $1 spent.
Also, we appreciated that they packed the cold dessert in a seperate bag so the heat from the food didn't warm it up.
My husband and I will be back and this time we want to eat inside! : ) : )
