Great atmosphere. You have to order your food, take a number and fill your own drink. Seat yourself at any table and they will bring your food to you. I felt the for the price paid, the food and service was lacking.

Very small sandwich for double what you would normally pay.. $22 for a crappie sandwich small drink and fries!? Waited almost 10 minutes to get it, only one person was ahead of me. Pit beef sandwich very small and didn't even finish cause it just wasn't good, roll was really cheap and soggy. Tasted like it was reheated. McDonald's would've even a been better choice.
I had high hopes for independent places like this one to beat chain shops. But, honestly, I don't know what I ate. The machine-cut paper thin brisket was dry and flavorless. Color was off also. The pull pork was unfortunately dry. The paper thin turkey was ok but without flavor or much color as well. I thought I was served deli meats, on second thought I think deli meats from a supermarket would've tasted better. The green beans and collard greens were kind of salty and old. Other than that, the service was decent and the place was clean. On this Saturday at dinner time there were 8 customers eating in plus some carryouts.

If you want some really good barbecue I advised not to go here the service sucked the chicken was dry the ribs were hard to eat hardly any barbecue sauce it was overall a lousy experience not to mention the two girls that were behind the counter and all the guys that were working in the back kitchen all decided to sit up front while my mother and I was eating and the girls were talking about whose package they were going to suck when the restaurant shut down at night just terrible terrible terrible terrible will never come here again don't even know why this place is even open

Maybe I got here too late in the day? Turkey was ok but was more of a lunch meat consistency, mac and cheese seemed like it had been sitting for a while, but was ok. The brisket was basically inedible like it had been reheated in a frying pan and was greasy like bacon on all sides and had no real flavor left. I honestly had to throw it out. They have a decent rating so I was kind of shocked by how poor it was. Drove by this place for years and finally had time to stop in. Very disappointing. Did I miss the bbq sauce or is there not any for guests dining in? Seems like they nickel and dime the upcharges, which is ok if your food decent.
