Stellar dining experience from start to finish. Everyone seemed proud of the service they were providing, and my server Marianne was prompt, knowledgeable, and a convincing advocate of all the daily specials. The ham appetizer was divine and the goat cheese ice cream, superb. The food and the atmosphere brought me right into the present. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back. Thank you for the mirthful and memorable evening!
In Easton for work. Picked a random spot from Google and holy guacamole am I happy to have ended up here. Coworker and I were both blown away. We way over ordered and thank goodness we did. Everything we had from the apps to the sides to the mains to the cocktails was amazing. 6 stars would be an under statement.

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at Out of the Fire after a small courthouse ceremony, and we couldn't have picked a better spot. It was clear that Amy and her team cared about making our dinner special. Every dish, from the starter of fresh corn with goat cheese (my personal favorite), to the salads, to the pizzas, to the mains, to the flourless chocolate cake, was excellent. The wines were a particular highlight. The outdoor patio space was perfectly cozy for our group of 22. We really can't say enough good things, and we can't wait to come back!

We were judged a bit by the hostess when we walked in the door. She warned us that they were very busy if we were looking for fast service. Okay. But things turned around once we sat down. Server was kind and attentive. Cocktails very good and pretty. Fritters were burnt and a bit flavorless. Gazpacho was very good but the giant chunks of vegetables were off putting. I had to cut my soup with a fork and knife. Special pizza delicious. Mussels delicious. All in all a very nice lunch.

Absolutely worth the hour and 45 minute drive! We had the pleasure of dining in this amazing and cozy little gem of an establishment in historic downtown Easton MD. Our waiter “Matt” delivered impeccable service.
?The muscles in spicy tomato broth with warm focaccia for dipping was perfectly prepared.
?The iron pan, warmed brie topped in beautiful seasonal/local blueberries, toasted almonds drizzled in honey was beyond satisfying.
?The sangria was a tastefully blended fusion of cooling citrus notes with choice of red or white wine.
?The cookie plate dessert finale we chose did not disappoint! I promise you the Oatmeal lattice (lace) cookie is all the rave and will have your table mates pulling straws over who gets the last bite.
Overall, a 5 Star experience when you want a quiet meal surrounded by enough intriguing history to walk off any guilt you may have over how much you just overindulged

I had a high expectations due to the high rating this restaurant received. However, I was very disappointed with a first bite of squid as an appetizer. The dressing had too much portion of fish sauce mixed with seemed like old bay spice was way too salty to my palette. Ordered two different fish dishes and they both were salty. I visited the Legal Assets Craft Food the other night, and that place is far more superior than this restaurant. Comparing apple to an apple, both restaurants prices are about the same but the quality can't be compared.

Out of the Fire is a blend of culinary magic and artistic flair. The upstairs dining area felt wonderfully homey and cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. The downstairs was vibrant and bustling, adding a lively atmosphere to the evening. Both the wine and cocktails were outstanding, perfectly complementing the fresh, locally sourced dishes. My favorites were the mussels, trout, and every dessert.

An ode to American art, home comfort, and ingenuity, Out of the Fire flourishes by continuing to embrace novel ideas. OotF experiments with foreign flavors, seasonal ingredients, and cutting edge preparations. This place finds consistency by making peace with change.

Visiting family, we tried Out of the Fire for lunch. First, any place that welcomes "leashed and well-behaved dogs" on their modest patio rates high with our golden retriever! Everything, from the fresh kale (local) salad, to the panini, to the bianca pizza (add applewood smoked bacon!) was excellent. I noticed tasting the last crust that it was sour dough, later to find out that the chef makes all the breads from his well kept starter. A small detail but just this added to the flavor of the perfect oven fired pizza. We even grabbed the cookies as a to go. The interior is bright, open and really nicely decorated. But more than that, the owner and waitress were so congenial and truly wanting your dining experience to be enjoyable and memorable. A trip back will mean a stop for dinner for sure! Support them ... very worth it.
Parking: A few spots in the liquor store lot next door.
