This might be my second review ever but I am compelled to sing the praises of this hidden and often forgotten gem. We rediscovered the T a few months ago and it is now in our regular rotation with two other exempt restaurants. Food is excellent. The servers are fabulous. We love going early and catching up with them. Awesome Old-Fashioneds ladies! The only star i took away was atmosphere. Most bizarre, uncomfortable seating ever. But you should try it!

This is hands down the best food on the Eastern Shore. It is a quintessential Chesapeake establishment; with its unassuming and modest interior, the whole meal ironically pairs very well with the outstanding food and service. Much like all good things around here, quality is valued over flashiness and that’s exactly what I love about this place. This goes without saying, the prepared the best rockfish I’ve ever had in my life.

We absolutely loved the food! Lisa was our server and she was excellent also. We started with the cream of crab soup which was perfect. My husband had rack of lamb which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had crab cakes and they were delicious. The green beans were perfectly done and the mashed potatoes were divine Also had a good glass of wine. Best dinner we had at the eastern shore. We will be back !
The food is always excellent and they did not dissapoint! Our party of three had the shrimp and grits, the ribeye and the salmon special. All were excellent. The service is very friendly and attentive. The dessert of chocolate mousse was the best any of us have ever had. We are still talking about it! If you're on the fence about going here-get off the fence and definitely give it a try!
Neighborhood gem. Upscale intimate dining unique for the rural community surrounding St. Michael's.
I wish they had more dairy free options. The wait for our good was one hour. It was delicious but finding a way to reduce that wait time is essential. They haven't solved the noise challenge. We had to yell to have a conversation.
The food was delicious, I would give it 10 stars if I could. The restaurant is very elegant and there are delicious desserts and appetizers and it is very pretty. I recommend it. My favorites were the beef stew, the rib eye, the stuffed chicken and especially the tiramisú. Go. Immediately. And enjoy!
Everything on the menu is delicious. This is our second time here and, with 5 people each time, I think we tried just about everything. Our favorites were the beef stew, the rib eye, the stuffed chicken, the bread pudding and the creme brûlée. Definitely save room for dessert, as it was fantastic. They mix a really good cocktail as well! Do yourself a favor and go!

Unexpected gem in the country. I enjoy good pork chops, and the Iberico pork rack was perhaps the best I have ever had. I usually favor savory over sweet, but the blueberry drizzle was outstanding.
Our dining experience was fabulous from the welcoming to the farewell. Susan and Madison always greet us with smiles and professionalism. The service was outstanding by the entire team including Lisa. The chef's soup du jour was delicious- a chicken chowder. The baked local MD crab balls were sweet and full of meat. The lamb chops and ribeye entrees were cooked to perfection with fresh vegetables and whipped potatoes. The ambience is warm and inviting. We appreciate the entire team at the T!
We were pleasantly surprised by how excellent our meals were. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The shrimp and grits was as good as I have ever had. Those grits were so creamy! We will definitely be back soon.

T at The General Store never misses. It's always consistently good, the wait staff is on point and super friendly. With high ceilings it can get loud when there are a lot of diners but that's about it in terms of negative feedback.
This place is a freaking treasure!!! Unassuming, naturally boho chic without trying to be, and utterly fantastic food.
