Had the Brisket today and when I tell you!!!!!!!! I'm mad I didn't get more!!!! It was so flavorful, juicy, and seasoned. I took no pictures because it directly went into my belly. Best brisket I have ever had!!!!!

Went for dinner. Had the sampler. Brisket was fatty with no smoke ring. Pork was juicy and tasty. The two ribs were ok. Chicken was ok as well. Overall not much smoke flavor and small portion size. Clean restaurant and employees were pleasant. Have a great selection of bbq sauces. The medium was my favorite. Would try again when in the area.

Very very yummy. The brisket was super tender and juicy. Have a very good flavor on its own and even better with the sauces. Pulled pork wasn’t bad, not the best but still very good. Ribs were also very yummy, falling off the bone. Pickled items were decent, not my cup of tea but my partner liked them. The sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and were very yummy. I personally did not care for the mac and cheese at all, but my partner liked it a lot. We got the Mexican Coke and the cherry cola bourbon for drinks, the bourbon drink was a bit strong for my tastes BUT you can’t beat the price. The highlights of this place is definitely the brisket and the sauces, I really enjoyed the Carolina mustard and the Carolina vinegar. Our table was a bit dirty but with a good bbq place you’re not doing it right if it isn’t a bit messy.

Ordered the Sloppy Joe expecting a classic — messy, saucy, flavorful, and served on a proper bun. What I got was a bowl of dry pulled meat, decent fries, and no sandwich in sight.

The worst part? I was eventually brought one single slice of plain white bread, cut in half, served cold in a basket like it was supposed to make everything okay. Not a bun, not toasted, not even warmed — just half-hearted and half a slice short. That felt like the real insult.

Let’s be clear:

Meat – Smoky and tender, yes, but dry and nowhere near sloppy. No tomato-based sauce, no sweetness, no tang — none of the signature flavors.

Fries – Surprisingly good. Crispy, rustic, and satisfying.

Presentation – Uninspired. This wasn’t a sandwich. It was a pile of meat next to fries, with a sad slice of bread tossed in after the fact.

If you’re going to call it a Sloppy Joe, then commit to the concept — or give it a different name. This was a BBQ plate pretending to be something it’s not.

Would I go back? Maybe. But not for this.

Went here today for first time in about 5mo. Usually its very good quality and service. This time the sandwich was not good. Got a pit beef sandwich. When I picked it up, about 5 tbsps of water poured out of it. The meat was soggy and flavorless. Beans and coleslaw were still good. Tablecloth had crumbs on it and the different BBQ sauces had chunks in it. Disappointing.

The brisket was phenomenal , the chicken was good. Sides were good. I paid $28 for the two sides and the choice of 2 meats, brisket and 1/4 chicken . Was shocked at the portion sizes… I’m a 150 pound man and I ate all of this still feeling hungry. I mean 5 slices of brisket and a chicken thigh and drum for $20 alone? That’s insane. I am not a complainer but not sure I’ll go back which sucks because the brisket is really good!

Wow! Great staff, very friendly and accommodating. Parking is tricky but worth it (there are a few spots in the front but I suggest parking on the street and walking the few feet to get there). Everything was fresh and came out fast. The Brussel sprouts were superb, crispy within an inch of life to perfection. My husband loved the smash burger. The fries were everything you’d want them to be (heads up you may want the cheese on the side if you get the rude fries b/c it’s a lot). You can sit outside, it’s very spacious and comfortable or indoors where the seating/arrangement is very well thought out. I had an adult version of a grill cheese sandwich, hit! Now to the part that really SLAPPED..the drink, I don’t know in the icy concoction was going on but I’ll tell you what the orange slushie drink was IT!! I could have just that one all day. Great comfort food, tremendous staff, amazing drinks, very chill. I should also note that they are an all the way Bourbon bar. If Bourbon is your thing, look no further. Home run Rude, home run!!!

Placed a Doordash order, and about a third of the order was missing. Dasher had to return to the restaurant for the rest of the order. BBQ was fine, but probably not good enough to merit another takeout order.

Great pork and beef BBQ. Chicken options is a little chewy for me but I know some people like it that way. Staff very friendly and helpful.
